Hotel was set in beautiful grounds, with exceptional facilities throughout. The food was of a very high quality, beautifully presented and full of flavour. Staff were friendly, professional, and attentive at all times. The spa was an added bonus and really enhanced the overall experience.

We have stayed a good number of times with no problems. However this time we were given a run down 2 bedroomed lodge. We had maintenance men in for the first 2 hours of our 2 night stay fixing the fridge door and a stair gate falling off the wall. When I told reception how unhappy we were they did offer to move us. However, having unpacked and having 2 young children to feed, we didn't think it would be great to move.

This was a comfortable relaxing stay in the lodges. The restaurant offered a good menu and the service was good. The leisure facility was also good but unfortunately the jacuzzi wasn’t working. We weren’t able to access the games room either. Nothing spoiled our stay and we would consider returning in the future.

Lodges could do with some attention. Our fridge door didn’t close properly, shower door in the en-suite didn’t shut letting water out when in the shower, mattresses on the beds were hard and uncomfortable
