Expectations _____________ 99% of guests are visiting family, friends, on a work trip, or just exploring town. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that:
We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.
We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.

For any health emergencies, please dial 911. If a system malfunctions (i.e., hot water not functioning or a light has gone out), please send us a message on the app or website you booked on and we will be sure to address it in as short a time as possible (we usually respond within a few minutes). We also have handymen, electricians, plumbers, and landscapers with whom we work, so for any extenuating circumstances, we will happily bring them out to solve your issues post haste!

House Rules _____________ We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:
- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know. - Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm. - Please leave your shoes at the door. - No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies. - No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky. - If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair. - Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.

Our stay was fine. The place is pretty charmless (fake plants?), but the beds were comfortable and the place was clean. However, there was NOTHING in the kitchen except some Keurig pods. We had thought about cooking but the thought of buying olive oil, basic herbs, whatever, made it cheaper to just eat out. At the very least, it would've been nice if there was SUGAR for coffee/tea.

Great location
This place has pros and cons, but generally a good place. The kitchen was amazing, absolutely perfect with all new items, updated and clean. The bathroom was also updated but needed a little repair. The beds were super comfortable, all the bedding and linens were clean. I wish the flooring in the kitchen and bathroom were throughout the entire unit as I did not like the carpet. The HVAC is much to be desired as the AC is loud and the air quality is not the best. The place smells musty and stale and we were all congested after less than an hour in the unit. The place is very nicely decorated but the main room sofa and table and chairs were not of the same look as the decor and kitchen. The entry hallway and outside is really dingy and needs some TLC. We did like the location and again if the whole unit matched the quality of the kitchen this would be amazing.

BEST weekend property!
WOW! I can not say enough great things about this adorable loft property in Ann Arbor. We were coming back into town with a group of alumni and wanted to be close to Main Street but also the Big House. This loft was everything we needed and more. I can't thank the host enough for how responsive and accommodating they were...we felt like we were staying at a hotel based on the way we were treated. This home is cozy, has a great space to relax, and a little area for fresh air off the balcony in the back. Thank you SO much for making our trip so easy and special. We will be back.

Great rental for move in
We recently stayed at the property when we were moving our son into the dorms. The location is very central. Easy to get to Kroger and has quick access to the interstate to get to all the other big box stores on the outskirts of AA. It's also very close to campus and shops/restaurants, but would say it was just a bit beyond an easy walking distance. The street itself is busy and curb appeal a bit lacking, but that really wasn't why we rented the place. Worked great for my husband and I, and our son as we each had our own room and a small kitchen to have breakfast. There were plenty of clean towels, shampoo & body wash was provided as was laundry detergent and coffee and the basics were in the kitchen (except sugar for coffee, but I left some). My only complaint would be the very loud fan in the living room for the A/C. It wasn't loud in the bedrooms with the door closed, but to watch TV we had to blast the volume. Hope it didn't bother the neighbors! The hosts were very accomodating and I was able to send multiple amazon orders to the property at arrival and during our stay as we were coming from out of state. This was a HUGE help! Thanks again for the great stay!

Parking Spot Hazardous
The property and stay were fine. However, I parked my brand new car in their designated parking spot. When pulling out, I heard a loud thunk on my car. Turns out the spot is right under a walnut tree and I had three significant dings in my car. Called the property manager who admitted it is a known issue and he and other guests have experienced similar damage to their cars. Long story short, he said it was my problem. I spoke with VRBO who instructed him to file a claim with his insurance. More than a week later and after several phone calls, I'm being ghosted. The PM doesn't bother to warn guests about risks to their property and seems to think it is the guest's problems.
