Check-in is at 3:00 PM. We arrived shortly after 4:00 PM and were still waiting in the lobby at 4:40 PM for our room. Had we arrived at the actual check-in time, we would have been waiting nearly two hours. Notably, once I explained that we were now short on time and needed to quickly get ready for a 5:30 PM event, a room suddenly became available. -The pillows are unacceptable. The king pillow is extremely flat and provides no support for side sleepers, while the standard pillows are lumpy, floppy, and useless. None of the pillows have protective covers, which raises concerns about cleanliness. -The bedding is also disappointing. The duvet cover does not fully encase the duvet, causing everything to shift. The top cover is thin, rough, and feels more like several flat sheets than proper bedding. This is Alaska during winter, with single-digit temperatures, a proper blanket is needed. -The TV faces an armchair rather than the bed or couch and is sitting on a dresser against the wall, unable to change position and be viewed from anywhere you would relax to view it. -Lighting throughout the suite is harsh and poorly thought out. There is no ambient lighting, only bright overhead lights. Using the kitchen or moving around at night floods the entire space with light, leaving you to either disturb anyone in the bed or move in darkeness. -The shower door is also poorly designed, with a handle on only one side, making it difficult to open and close once inside

Room was extremely clean and quiet, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a nice assortment they also had fresh fruit pineapple blueberries melon. The oatmeal was not runny and they had walnuts, almonds, raisins and brown sugar to mix. A good assortment of cold cereals, the waffles had chocolate chips and whipped cream. They had a good assortment of eggs turkey sausage regular sausage potatoes even a little mini taco assortment to make a breakfast taco if you wished. The juice wasn't watered down, it tasted like orange juice. The bed was comfortable we had one fluffy pillow and one flatter pillow on each side so you can choose which was nice. I love staying here, when I have to go into Anchorage I try to stay here, because I feel safe the people are friendly and it's quiet. There is a pool and an exercise room as well. The card in my room said Olivia cleaned it and she did an amazing job!

we were not given the room we reserved, they sent us to the Hilton garden inn where we had a smaller room with a bed set up that didn't work for us. upon getting to this hotel our power went out for over a half hour. so not only did we get a cheaper room and not have the amenities we were promised. this room can be found for 60 dollars less then the room we book. i expect some form of fixing this as i paid extra for travel insurance.

The positive first: The staff was very friendly, helpful, and informative. The “buffet” breakfast is ok and they keep hot coffee on all day long. The price for a “studio suite” was reasonable $200/night). This may have been a special rate since I am a Hilton Platinum rewards member. Location is good and is accessible to shops, restaurants, the airport, etc. The bad: The room was in very poor condition; dirty, rundown, broken furniture, etc. The HVAC was in terrible shape, was so Loud it was hard to hear the tv at times, and vacillated between blowing out incredibly hot air and ice cold air (we were in the middle of a large snow storm). The room was often freezing. Noise: the walls are very thin and you can hear conversations and other more intimate activities easily. I did not have children with me in this trip but if I had, I would be concerned about what can be heard from the neighboring rooms. I would say it is a 2 star property with very nice staff. While it was relatively inexpensive, I will stay elsewhere the next time I’m In Anchorage.

My room was spotless, everything I needed worked just fine. It was quiet and I felt safe during my stay. MS Kathesha was very helpful when I was having issues with the electronic reservation program. She was even thoughtful enough to follow up with a curtesy call to ensure that my reservation form was complete and I had a room. MS Kathesha, went above and beyond to reduce my frustration with the reservation challenges. I'm 78 and electronic stuff is not easy for me. Thank you and your wonderful staff for making my stay very enjoyable.
