The cottage was perfect. Immaculately clean, tastefully decorated and had everything anyone would need. The location was great; we did not want to be in a touristy, commercialized area and this was not. Cool breezes, beautiful beaches made our stay extra special. I highly recommend this cottage.

Perfect little hideaway!

Casa Mateus was just perfect for us! Located right in the center of Vila do Bispo, there was everything you could need nearby. This cosy little house is furnished with style and heart and Marta gave us a very warm welcome with fresh fruits, wine and patè. We will definitely come back on our next trip to the beautiful Costa Vincentina!

Traumhaft eingerichtet und in zentraler Lage

Pros: Wir waren schon in sehr vielen Ferienwohnungen in der Algarve: das von einer portugiesischen Familie betriebene Casa Mateus war mit Abstand das schönste und best-ausgestattete kleine Haus in dem wir bisher waren. Walk-in shower, voll ausgerüstete Küche mit allem was man braucht, inkl. Mikrowelle, großem Kühlschrank und Spül- und Waschmaschine. Als Willkommens-Geschenk gab es einen kleinen Korb mit tollen lokalen Produkten und einer guten Flasche Wein. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin und der ganzen Familie war wirklich ausgesprochen nett. Alles hat perfekt funktioniert. Am besten gefallen hat uns mit unserer kleinen Tochter die spezielle Ausstattung für Kinder mit jeder Menge Spielzeug, einem Töpfchen und vor allem die sonnige Südterrasse mit Outdoor-Shower, die wir sehr ausgiebig genutzt haben.
