Beautiful Place, Beach & Great Location!

This lake home is beautiful and well-furnished with everything you need. Beds are super comfortable and the view is gorgeous. The sandy beach area & crystal clear water are perfect with lots of beach toys, paddle boat & paddle boards. Highly recommended and we will hopefully be back!
We rented the pontoon and loved it!

Fabulous Family Getaway! Beautiful property on Lake Ida! The private beach is really nice. Clear sandy bottom. And, they offer so many beach toys - toddlers to adults. It was wonderful! Highly recommend this home for families. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and sitting area in the evenings. We also appreciated the garage turned into a gathering area with a table and chairs, ping pong, and other outdoor games. These owners have really put a lot of thought into everything a family needs from a pack n play to a high chair, toys to puzzles, and even s’mores sticks! We loved everything! Thank you!

Perfect Family Getaway!!

Grandparents, Adult Kids, and Grandkids had a wonderful time. The house is perfect for multi generations as the downstairs has its own family room/game room. The decks were so inviting and comfortable. The sandy beach was perfect for the littles and all the water toys made our stay!!! We went for beautiful nature walks each day, swam in the lake and paddled the SUP’s. We also enjoyed going to Carlos Creek Winery for a wine tasting and pizza dinner. Super fun and family friendly. We hope to come back again.

Great open spaces for large family, nice dock beach and boat rental. Beautiful view of the lake, sunrise and sunset from the deck. Relaxing long weekend

Just What We Needed

We had 7 adults and a toddler and had everything we needed for a great week in the sun, on their beach and in the great Alexandria vacation area. Can wait to come back.

Great Family Getaway

Our entire family had a great time at this getaway. The beach was clean and sandy, and the water was clear and refreshing. We enjoyed relaxing in the water, kayaking/paddleboarding, and fishing with our boat. The house was comfortable and well stocked. Plenty of room for the six of us to be able to have our own space for sleeping arrangements. I would definitely stay here again.

Friends Weekend

This is a great property with a beautiful view!! We had a small group get together for the weekend. The bedrooms were setup nicely for multiple kids/families. We loved the outdoor space. Like the listing states, there are a lot of steps to the water, but they were fine for our group aged 5-45. Our favorite part was all the things they have available. Kids loved the water toys and games. The owner was very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay again!

Lovely Lake Home

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. It was well maintained and had many things to do both in and out of the water. We especially loved the yard game Kubb we found in the garage. Every morning we went out on the lake to paddle board, use the paddle boat, swim, or just relax on the dock. The guest house attached to the garage was a nice addition for our large family. The lake was quiet and peaceful the entire week. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful lake vacation

This was the perfect place to spend four days in June with our entire family. Comfortable accommodations, great communication with homeowner, beautiful lake property! I would highly recommend! I would not hesitate to visit this property again.

Summer lake getaway

Top notch property for a lake vacay! My family and I absolutely loved all there was to offer at this lake home, down to the items available for use for kids(toys, sand toys, puzzles, games, kitchen items, etc)…hosts thought of it all! Communication with the host was bar none, home was very clean and well-maintained, BEAUTIFUL lake views, amazing outdoor spaces and the private beach was used fully. Only downfall was the steep steps, was listed and shown in the listing, so we knew what we were getting into with those. Very quiet, safe, and private neighborhood. Great location for anyone!

This was a beautiful lakefront property that was very clean and ready for us when we arrived. Very quiet and peaceful every day through the weekend that we stayed. The water in the lake is beautiful and clear. Grocery stores are within a 20 minute drive into town. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a relaxing vacation on the lake!

Great Stay

Unfortunately we had to head to the area for a funeral and wanted a comfortable space to stay with our two kids. Didnt use the lake as it was too cold but the house was well equipped, comfortable, and a great place to stay. I was able to destroy my kids in both ping pong and foosball while we were there, which was a blast! Garage is super nice with a finished floor, bar, fridge, and the ping pong table. Looks like an amazing beach down by the lake and killer views and a ton of stars off the patio.

Great Stay!

Our family enjoyed our stay at this lake home. Great beach, water toys, and fully equipped kitchen. The owner was responsive and easy to communicate with. Great venues like the Carlos Creek Winery are in close proximity to this property!

Relaxing

Just a great place on the water. Spent alot of time just fishing and relaxing. The property is set up quite nice plenty of space for everyone. And gathering spaces big enough for everyone and small enough for one or two. There are few more stairs down to the water than expected but manageable for an old fat guy. All in all a great place for large or small groups.

Wonderful cabin- amazing lake!

We had an absolutely fabulous time a the cabin on Lake Ida. The cabin owner Eric was very helpful and so great to deal with right before our stay. The water on Lake Ida is crystal clear. The cabin has every amenity you need. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of seating, etc. this is the perfect spot for a family with kids of all ages. The garage has a ping pong table, grill and a 2nd refrigerator. There is a paddle boat, stand up paddle board and a kayak. There are steps to the beach, but we were mindful of bringing snacks, drinks, etc down with us. There is a great little deck down on the beach and a brand new dock. All around amazing and we would definitely rent again.

Tons of fun!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this great cabin on Lake Ida. There was plenty of room to spread out in the house and many nice outdoor spaces as well. They have more games and toys that we had ever seen in a VRBO rental (spikeball, Can Jam, bags, ping pong, fuseball, a kayak, SUP, paddleboat, lily pad) keeping our extended family busy and having fun throughout our stay. Fishing off the dock was great for the kids. The water is very clear with a sand bottom and a bit of a beach for the kids. The cabin and outdoor spaces and very clean and neat. The amenities of Alexandria are nearby and include all that you may need.
