Great stay in Aachen.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was close to all the main sights in Aachen and the paid parking in the back was very easy to access (although Google Maps doesn't register that cars can drive on that road - adjust accordingly, it's one-way, and you can!). Very clean and modern room with breathing space, with friendly and efficient staff. It was the second time we had stayed in a Motel One and so far we've been impressed.

Overall, this was an excellent experience. The reason for 4 stars is that it would have been nice to have a mini-fridge and a coffee maker. Everything else was excellent!

The hotel is really nice, luxurious and the location is convenient for people that just want to walk. The only concern is the air conditioning - it barely worked when we stayed and it was needed because the room can heat up fast. If you decide to open the window and your room is facing the main road just be prepared for the noise. But overall a good place to experience Aachen.

The hotel lobby is trendy and welcoming. The room, whole a little small was very clean, comfortable and well decorated. Had a good view of the theatre. Very good value, short walk from train station and right next to the historical center and lots of dining. Would stay again and definably recommend.

This was a great stay in Aachen except for one thing. This is a successful hotel chain in Germany so I would expect that they would figure out their plumbing problems by now, but here it is: the temperature of the water in the shower varies rapidly depending on water use in other rooms. It goes rapidly from very cold to very hot and makes for a miserable showering experience! Almost unsafe in how hot it can get. Need better flow regulators, guys! Otherwise, everything else was very good.

The property's location is perfect in a very safe part of bustling downtown with shops and cafes, bars and restaurants. The downside is the parking garage: It is public and often full. Reservations cannot be made. If you want to park your car and not use it during your stay, there are plenty of garages nearby and the location is perfect. If you want to come and go parking becomes extremely expensive. Still, due to the location I would go again. Breakfast is great! Staff was friendly but could have been more knowledgeable. I sent two emails before arrival and none was answered.

We hadn't heard of Aachen or Motel One until we started looking at christmas markets,and I've got to say what a fantastic city and hotel . the christmas market is probably half a mile away at most so well within walking distance,around the cathedral. I could definitely recommend both the city and hotel to anyone wanting to visit a European christmas market

Nice hotel with great lounge and bar. Small but comfortable room. Great location; especially for the Christmas market and only 10 minutes walk from the station. Did a great day trip to Monschau from here.
