I would not stay again

I will not stay here again. I alreay booked and stayed many many hotel through hotels.com for more then 300times so far(Gold member during last 10years) One of most terrible one ever stayed amd do not.recommend. Surprisingly, Elevator which was built in 1967 is still running. Good location closed to Carolus

Cheap but OK

Contrary to previous reviews, the hotel is OK, especially for the price. The room is small and the bathroom is compact as well, yes, but they are definately enough. The rooms are facing a busy street, yes, but nothing disturbed our sleep. The room was clean, the water was hot. The good thing is the location -- very close to two museums, very close to the Thermen, many cheap eats in the vicinity. There are some problems though. First of all, advertised reception open times are a total lie -- the reception was never open in the morning, and they close not at 22:00 as advertise. There is a self-check-in available, but you cannot count on a possibility of leaving your bags before or after your stay. Second of all, the "non smoking room" stank of cigarettes. Thirdly -- mattress is indeed very, very soft. It's OK for a few nights though!

I booked a stay at this hotel through Expedia, but was unable to sleep due to extremely poor conditions. The entire building was under construction and had an overwhelming odor. The room lacked basic amenities such as cups or glasses, a safety box, shampoo, soap, even a shower head, and even lighting—believe it or not, I had to rely on the bathroom light to illuminate the room. The bed was extremely unstable—just a single cough caused it to bounce so much that I nearly fell off. The toilet flush wasn’t working properly, there was no phone in the room to call for assistance, the closet was broken, and the staircase leading to the rooms was not only damaged but smelled terrible. To make matters worse, there was no reception service after 11 PM. I checked in around 10 PM, and upon seeing the condition of the room, I went to find help, only to discover the front desk was already closed. I had to leave the hotel just to buy water and disposable cups. By the time I returned, the main entrance was locked, and I was forced to enter through the back. This stay was extremely disappointing and far below even the most basic hospitality standards. I kindly request a full-night stay compensation for the time wasted and the distress I experienced.

Leider war es kein schöner Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer lädt nicht zum Verweilen ein und alles sieht viel schlechter als auf den Bildern aus. Ganz sauber war es auch nicht und eine Nacht wäre fast das Unglück passiert, dass der Nachteingang durch Vorgänger unzugänglich gemacht wurde. Ich brauche Zimmer nur zum Schlafen, doch das Zimmer war eine Zumutung. Immerhin war das Personal gut und nett.

Es wurde zwar versucht optisch die Zimmer etwas modern zu gestalten, leider ist der Zustand was Sauberkeit betrifft eine Katastrophe... In den Duschen ist von oben bis unten alles voll Schimmel (ein bisschen in den Ecken wäre ja noch "in Ordnung") und es sieht aus als wäre nie geputzt worden. Ebenso in den Fensterrahmen Schimmel, sowie Schmutz auf dem Boden, Haare im Waschbecken und auf dem Bett, Flecken auf der Bettdecke usw. Wir sind nach einer Stunde wieder abgereist und in ein anderes Hotel umgezogen. Mein autistischer Sohn hat es nicht ausgehalten...

150€ für eine verdammt schäbige Unterkunft. Im Flur hat es nach nassem Hund gerochen. Die Badfuge begannen fast an ein Eigenleben zu führen bei dem Schimmel. Man kann dort übernachten, aber der Preis ist eine Frecheit.

Als reine Schlafmöglichkeit ausreichend

Parkplatzsuche ist schwer (öffentlicher Parkplatz 5€ und Hotelparkplatz 8€ am Tag). Die Rezeption ist abends lange besetzt d das Personal äußerst zuvorkommend, aber morgens erst ab 12 Uhr, was es bspw. unmöglich macht morgens heißes Wasser für Kaffee zu bekommen. Die Zimmer und Flure sind recht eng und die Wände etwas dünn. Zimmer sind süß gestaltet und es gibt sogar einen smart TV um Streaming-Dienste zu schauen. Das WLAN war gut. Das Reinigungspersonal sehr zuverlässig, hat einen auch nicht um 8 Uhr aus dem Bett geschmissen. Keine Getränke und/oder Snackautomaten sowie kein Frühstücksangebot. Fahrstuhl vorhanden aber nicht Rollstuhlgerecht.

Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, an den Wänden sind Wasserflecken und schwarzer Schimmel. Im Bad ist die dusche komplett verschimmelt, das wasser lässt sich nur schwer kalt stellen, das Waschbecken wird mit Klebeband repariert. Die Matratzen sind komplett voll mit gelben Flecken und Blut. Der TV geht auch nicht.
