Top class hotel nice big room, bath and shower, separate toilet cosy sitting corner full mini-bar and a safe. People at the reception and in the bar aswel as the people at the breakfast were very friendly. A lift from the lobby to the parking garage. This hotel has everything someone could wish for, next time we go to Aachen it wil be in this hotel for sure.
We had a warm welcome, with a glas of gluh wine. The room was very clean, with a very good bed. The bathroom was rather small but OK. And not to forget the very good breakfast with a wide range of products (cold and warm).
I have stayed at the hotel about 6 times now, so the staff are very welcoming when I arrive. They do their best to fulfill any special wishes (such as a kettle in the room instead of a coffee machine) and are always ready to help with any questions. The hotel is comfortable, well located and clean. The only very slight niggle on this last trip was the brunch on Sunday when due to the influx of a couple of coach tours, the hotel was very full and the restaurant staff were pushed to the limit to cope. I would definitely recommend this hotel and have already booked my next two visits.
Our family of 8 stayed here for the Christmas market. Two rooms of 4 with a baby crib in each. It was an easy walk to be in the old town. Parking was convenient and below the hotel, with an attached lift, Paige per day. Breakfast had everything needed in a hot and cold buffet but with below average coffee and very attentive and friendly staff. The rooms could each accommodate two parents, a school-age child and a baby, but it left nearly no room to walk around. Extremely limited closet space and maybe not even a single drawer for clothes. It was convenient to have a bath and a shower.
We stayed in Novotel Aachen for one night whilst exploring the tri border area. The hotel is well placed in the city, within walking distance of most of the main attractions and easy to find by car. Novotel Aachen offers secure parking at reasonable rates. Cant fault the service we received whilst staying here, check in was swift and the receptionist friendly. She let us know the hotel had managed to meet our request of interconnecting rooms on higher floors, offered us a city map and let us know the timings for breakfast. All staff seemed genuinely invested in making the stay a good one. Rooms were spotlessly clean and featured well stocked minibar and hospitality tray. Beds very comfortable and bathrooms bright and well equipped with plenty of towels, toiletries and hair dryer. Separate shower and bath tub a pleasant surprise. All in, we enjoyed our stay as a family at this hotel and would recommend it to others. It is well located, clean and comfortable and offers a level of service that exceeds expectation.
I stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip. It's in a good location for the City centre which is only about a 10 minute walk away. The staff were polite and friendly, especially the greeter at breakfast, the room clean, roomy and everything in its right place. A bit more expensive than some of the other hotels in the area but you get what you pay for. It's certainly not a criticism of the hotel but the immediate vicinity is a bit on the seedy side with a few drunks and hustlers hanging around the local budget supermarkets so be on your guard! But this is a good hotel nonetheless.
Nice hotel, nice team... But make sure the rooms allocated as premium are quite. Thanks to the staff who allocated us the 503. The staff is friendly! Keep this one for out next visits... Breakfast could be with more selections
I stayed with my two adult sons over the 25-28th August weekend, and used this hotel as our base during the F1 Grand Prix weekend. The bedrooms rooms were a good size and the bathroom very clean. The Hotel provides a very good breakfast, however we felt that the evening meals in the bar were rather limited and overpriced price for a burger and chips. The hotel has an underground car park which you can access via a lift, but this is charged at an extra 14 Euros per night, and the hotel is located close to Aachen Bus Station and has many homeless people sitting in the surrounding streets, so not an area where you would feel comfortable about your daughter walking alone late at night.
The Novotel Aachen is a very clean and pleasant hotel a 10-15 minute walk from the historic old town. The hotel is very accessible from the main road into Aachen, thus it is a convenient spot for those arriving by car. Parking is inexpensive and below the hotel. The hotel is in reasonable proximity to the old town and quiet at night. The walk into town is past a few somewhat unsavory casinos and crowds of the inebriated but in no way felt unsafe. I would certainly consider returning if I found myself in Aachen again,
The hotel is located around 15 Mins walk from the central station, very close to the city center, room is fine, big enough for two. Breakfast needs some more variety Overall it was a pleasant experience
