We travelled to Argassi in October just a week or two before the place really shut down. Two of us just wanted a place to chill out, get a bit of sun, eat well but basically relax and that is what we got. The hotel room was furnished to a basic standard but had everything we needed. We booked bed and breakfast but had a small kitchen so that we could keep drinks etc cool and cater for our own lunches. Breakfast was a basic buffet, some cereal, breads, fruit and some hot food. Reception staff were very helpful throughout the stay and we were able to keep the room on our departure day for a small additional cost. We went out to eat in a different restaurant in the town every night and the standard of the food out really surprised me. There is a lot of meat in the greek diet and the kleftico's came out flaming and the waiters dancing and the staple is stifado, kebabs etc. However my daughter and I are mainly vegetarian (she is vegan) and we managed to find something suitable to eat everywhere we went and occasionally we found cuisine that would be at home in a trendy café in any main UK city. We were two ladies on our own and a little worried before going about being hassled but all the local people were friendly and we felt comfortable wherever we went. Daytimes were mainly spent by the pool which had plenty of beds and a bar. There is no beach to speak off but access to the sea which is shallow and safe. The weather was a little mixed but we got enough sunshine to be able to relax outside and sunbath for a few hours every day except one. We took a boat trip around the island one day, fairly long trip but relaxing and fantastic caves to stop and swim in as well as the iconic shipwreck beach - which was heaving! It is also possible to walk to the main town which we did one day as the weather was dodgy so everyone was trying to get the bus and they were full, it's a couple of miles but easy to get a taxi back for about £10 or usually a bus. Argassi is an easy destination to get to, relaxed, welcoming, very good value. I would go again but it has prompted me now to try some other smaller Greek resorts.

We booked this hotel as a part of a travel package provided by a travel agent. We got a very basic room which was clean but not in the best condition or repair. The bathroom towel rack was broken as was the toilet seat. No hot water kettle or provision of tea/coffee/minibar in the room. No telephone. However we had a TV and a fridge. No free drinking water served. Buy your own water (pack of six) from the nearby shops as it will be the same price of a single bottle. The wifi is very poor and we hardly had any connection in the room. In the common areas the signal is stronger. Use of AC is charged separately at 6 Euro/day. Swimming pool is accessible and even open for outsiders from morning till midnight with a pool bar. Happy hour is 6pm - 8pm. We had dinner at the beach side restaurant only to promise to ourselves to never have it there again. We ordered chicken roast which was obviously cooked previous day and re-heated. There are multitudes of great restaurants just outside on the street. There are many sunbeds available at the poolside and the beachside. A very small sandy beach is accessible but the sea floor is shallow and you can walk for about 200 meters until the water gets neck deep. Free breakfast was included, however it is the same throughout the week. A small playground is available for kids but the slides, see-saws are in very bad condition and is unsafe for kids. The elevator car does not have a door and make sure your kid does not keep his/her fingers close to the edges to avoid serious injury. The best part is the location. There is a bust stop right outside and various shops, tour operators and restaurants closeby. Best to bring Euros with you or you can use the nearby ATMs. Money exchange centers are scarce and best avoided. We had a street facing room and there is a karaoke place opposite and it becomes very noisy until late night.

Ok, so we stayed here for 7 days and chose a Bungalow. The bungalow and hotel was stuck in the 1970's, decor wise BUT the bungalow we stayed in was clean, comfy and cleaned daily. The location was the best we have stayed in yet, we walked out of the door to the sea. I had a problem with Expedia when we first booked the room which I was unaware of and th pre-authorisation of my card hadn't gone though, but Andreas at Mimoza was very patient with me and eventually we spoke on the phone and got it sorted. From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing. Carried my case to the bungalow, cleaned daily, Chris at the Beach Bar was so friendly, you felt like you had known him forever - plus he made amazing cocktails. The beds were so comfortable, the air con a godsend as freakily the weather was in the late 30's. Few downsides - only one plug socket for the whole of the bungalow with a four bar extension, it already had the TV, Fridge and Freeview box thing in it which left nothing for our phones/straighteners and all the other things girls pack. The shower was really powerful and lovely but you had to hold it in your hand as no over head fixing. It also flooded the bathroom as it was so small and the shower curtain didn't reach the tray, so left it very slippy, but we just used the towels to mop up as they were changed everyday. The patio furniture has seen better days and no tea/coffee making facilities. Although we bought a travel kettle, 2 mugs and a supplies for less than 20Euros in the supermarket on the corner - so all good. I have only been back a day and have tried to book again for same time next year - but it is already fully booked :( Never been so relaxed - desperate to go back

I'd like to say that we didn't have high expectations at first, but when we arrived there we were very pleased of everything (breakfast, rooms, bungalows, pool, beach). The staff members clean the rooms daily. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. I recommend 100%. 🦑🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🦑

Very nice hotel in Argassi centre. You can enjoy the shadow of the park, silence and relax, just in front of the beach (a bit small, maybe for some could be the only weak point...), where sunbeds are available. A very rich and fresh breakfast buffet will cheer your stay every day! People are very nice and always at disposal.

Just returned from a most enjoyable week. Perfect convenient position on the beach whilst in the centre of Argassi. Very good breakfast which we ate outside every day overlooking the sea. Spotless clean room, first class service and extremely friendly and helpful staff. This is the first time we have stayed at the Mimoza but will definitely be back.

We spent a wonderful week in Mimoza, we got Bungalow next to the sea - best place ever! Very helpful and friendly staff, bungalow was cleaned every day, there was nice swimming pool with new sunbeds + cocktails were great. Definitely worth booking.

Very hard work and experienced staff, extremely polite and the facilities of the hotel are outstanding. Number one choice to host my vacations on island for sure. The best part is that its location can't be closer of the center of the city. Keep up the good work

We have visited the island several times and this was the best choice of all. The rooms were clean, The service was perfect and the people so kind, especially the man at the reception was very helpful and willing to arrange for anything required . Thank you Andreas ! The breakfast was very nice with great variety and local cheeses! The hotel's seaside was also very nice . Highly recommended

we had spent our holidays in momosa beach and are booking again for the next summer.it is a quiet, clean and well kept complex with hotel rooms, studios and bungalows and in a central location.we spent a week in a bungalow close to the sea, with a small private hotel beach, and also used the swimming pool. we ate often in the hotel 's restaurant, which was tasty and offered a variety of menues and a very good service.i still remember the unique atmosphere sitting near the beach and being pampered under the clear greek sky
