At a first glance it seems quite comfortable and you would think you chose the right place to rest, but in reality is overrated, check in wasn't nice, without a smile. Expedia offered a "secret price" benefit and misteriously the price per night was the same as the one offered to me the day I arrived and they didn't seem to care. Room clean but not worthy the price because we discovered better hotels in the area. Not recommended at all.
I stayed here with my family for a weekend. I liked it very much because is located in front of the cathedral, perfect location to go walking everywhere. If you stay here there are some rooms that have balcony and the view is very nice.
Incredible! Best location and great service. The view from the balcony is phenomenal. Everything is walking distance. Shops, food, tourist attractions. We took a taxi to cerro de la bufa for 5 bucks and zip lined, it was perfect. Highly recommend staying here!
This hotel is rigth in the center of the city ...You can walk aroud , alot of chuches to see ,we took one of the tours.AND... I forget something in the room. And Ms.Imelda Ramírez Medina Asistente de Dirección General/ General Manager Assistant. Help me to get it back...And made my trip more memorable .Hard to find people more nices than that.THANK YOU
Great location in the heart of town! The rooms are very nice and all the staff are friendly! They also have great breakfast buffet. I think an outside room in the upper floors would be best. Another plus is that they have basement garage parking for just a few pesos per day.
This lovely hotel is just across the street from the catedral and walking distance to almost everything. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Be aware the breakfast buffet is very large if you choose that option. The only negative was that the air conditioners were not working during our stay in May.
Even not a business hotel they help me with any need so I could mix my business travel with couples leisure plan. I arrive too early and let me take a room before 12. Buffet breakfast is very good: fruit, yogurt, meat, eggs and several dishes. The location for visiting downtown is the best, you can almost walk everywhere. They realize I forgot stuff in the hotel and were diligent to send it back.
I was staying there in February of this year and came down with the flu (caught it from someone on my team in Fresnillo). I was extremely sick starting late Friday night and through the weekend. Called room service all day Saturday. Sunday I went down for breakfast so that they could clean my room (I passed on cleaning on Saturday). Two of the waiters in the restaurant, Gabrielle & Victor, had heard from other staff that I was ill. They said we get off in one hour and we are taking you to the doctor. After I ate I was waiting in the lobby and one of the managers, Rolando Flores walked by and took one look at me and asked what was wrong. I told him that I had been sick all weekend. He immediately called two of the security staff, had them put me into a hotel car and take me to the hospital. They got me in to see a doctor, who looked be over, and gave me some prescriptions. They took me to the pharmacy to get the medicine and then took me back to the hotel. Over the top above and beyond service in my opinion! I cannot thank them enough.
This hotel is in a great location, right in the middle of everything. The waiters at the restaurant that's in the hotel provide wonderful service, probably the best service that we encountered while we were in Mexico and we visited several cities. We plan to stay here again.
This was our first time to Zacatecas. We were touring. The hotel is right across the street from the Cathedral and close to many of the city's attractions. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The food and service in the restaurant was so good we didn't explore a lot of other restaurants in the city which we normally love to do. On the last morning the kitchen happily packed a box lunch for us because we were travelling by public bus and would not be stopping for supper. The Hotel was nicely decorated and felt very welcoming. The room itself was great. Once the curtains were closed, there wasn't a drop of light or noise that came through. If I hadn't been so excited about exploring the city I am sure I could have slept for 3 days!!
