I was so glad that my husband reminded me to make a reservation a few days ahead of our trip. This is our favorite motel when traveling west out of PA. When we arrived they were sold out but we had a wonderful stay. This motel is always clean. Plenty of fluffy towels and plump pillows. Friendly staff.
Whenever I travel from Northern Indiana to Northeastern PA, (about once a year) this is where I've stopped for several years now, going both ways. It's about halfway. Handy restaurant and bar, fun shops, attached to a nice little, inexpensive, place to rest overnight.
2375 North Main Street. What image comes to mind? Maybe a place to stay on a tree-lined street surrounded by brick homes and stores? Whoops. That was a shock. If Hubbard exists, it must be further down "Main Street" because where I ended up was the end of the ramp off Interstate 80, plunged into the middle of a truck stop. Yes, that's where my phone's GPS took me. Like me, it couldn't find a Main Street, let alone number 2375. I found it by accident. Before turning round and heading back a little further onto the interstate, I decided to fill up the car, and that is where I saw the Travelodge sign out of the corner of my eye. I drove to the back of the parking lot, and there was a small two-story rectangular concrete building with no obvious front door. The only signs of life were some noisy drinkers outside the bar next door. I walked round the other side and found the entrance. Once I got inside, staff were pleasant, the place was quiet, and I snatched a few hours of sleep before getting back on the road. I skipped the complimentary breakfast, which was mainly a feast of sugar and carbs in a corner by the door. To sum up: if you are not intimidated by a large parking lot shared by many businesses, and are looking for a modestly-priced clean hotel with laundry and other facilities that cross-country travelers may need, this could be your place. Want to find it? Look for the Shell station and Dunkin' Donuts. It's at the back of the large lot behind them.
The external facade of this Travelodge might not thrill, but inside everything seemed brand-spanking new. Everything is updated and very comfortable. It was a business trip, but we had our kids with us and it was great for them also.
When making reservations a month in advance, I requested 2 rooms on ground floor. When we arrived, we were told they only had 2nd floor availability. Being upset since one member of our party couldn't climb stairs (no elevator), we were going to check out the newer competition. However, the manager on duty (I think David) came running outside saying he could work out 1 ground floor room if the other could be 2nd floor. We readily agreed!! The rooms were great and we were glad it worked out. The staff couldn't have been nicer!! They always were asking if we were happy and if we needed anything. We will definitely stay there again.
This was a very nice place, very clean and well-maintained, near the interstate but still very quiet. I expect to be back very shortly
This motel was cleaner, more up to date than we expected and for a great price. Bed was comfy too
Normally we request a room for the Handicap / Disabled. They didn't have one but they gave us a room on the bottom floor and it worked perfect for us. Because I'm unable to walk, I was concerned about bathroom facilities . I was able to get up and down (transfer) from chair to toilet without assistance. I left the door open and by holding on to the door and the sink I had success! The bed was high, my husband helped me in to it but it was VERY comfortable. We slept well. Thank you Travelodge for allowing us a wonderful night relaxing while watching television and then sleep. We arrived about 8:30PM and we were swiftly checked in to relax. We've stayed here before and by God's grace, we plan to stay with you again.
We stayed one night while driving through Ohio. Check in and out was easy and fast. The staff at the desk were great. We had 2 rooms and both were clean and comfortable. I'm very picky about cleanliness and had no complaints at all. Would stay again.
Neat, clean room and bath...Very friendly and pleasant staff...Will stay again on my next trip to that area..
