Lovely stay

We really enjoyed our stay - lovely accommodation - spotlessly clean - great hot tub - only shame is it’s 6 hours drive away or we’d stay here more often. Will defo be back.

Excellent!

Absolutely stunning cottage, beautiful location. The cottage was so perfectly clean, absolutely spotless. Comfortable beds and beautiful fixtures and fittings. Close to York so able to get taxis in and out of York for drinks and restaurants.

A fabulous break away for our sons first birthday. My husband was working nearby and we opted to take our little one to him so he could be there for his first birthday. It was a truly wonderful property (pictures don't do it enough justice) with everything you need and more. A great location with lots of things to do nearby for the little one. Hosts were great, meeting us on arrival and explaining how things worked. Their communication throughout the booking process was great and nothing was too much trouble for them. They really did go the extra mile.

Perfect relaxing home from home

From booking to checking out this place has been fabulous. Just what we wanted and found everything to be as advertised. We were warmly welcomed by Lynne when we arrived who showed us into the property which was spotless. We walked into a warm and cosy Christmas cottage with a welcome pack that included everything we would need, essentials but then so much more, it has been really well thought out. The hot tub was ready to use, a fantastic haven for weary travellers. We encountered an issue with our electric car and Simon was so very helpful, the fault was with our vehicle and not the charger and a visit from vehicle assistance soon got us on the road again. My dog loved the open space and felt very welcome too. The cottage is a great base for exploring Yorkshire with a town 5 min drive away with a good range of shops, pubs, a lovely bistro and take aways. Would absolutely recommend for peace, rest and family time, thank you.

Excellent Cottage and lovely location

The cottage has everything you need and is amazing inside and out, kids loved the hot tub, Simon & Lynne have been brilliant since the day we booked, decorated the cottage, ordered a cake for my daughters 16th, we can't thank them enough, we will definitely be back at some point, Thank you, Craig, Emma, Nevaeh, Mikey, Charlie 👍🏻

Simon and lynne were very hospitable the dogs had an amazing time and beautiful setting! We had so much fun and a well earned break! We made some amazing memories and will definitely go back
