I stayed at Hyatt Regency in Ekaterinburg just one night and, though the reception desk was efficient at the check in and out, the food at the hotel was pretty good, I was not perticularly happy with the room I stayed at. The lay out of that room was the most strange I even seen with the dresser in the shape of a column in the center, with the semi-circular bed, so the room space was severely diminished, the basin and mirrow were outside of a bathroom right next to bed but what was especially annoying was the room lighting which was scattered all over the place with numerous switches, so I spent nearly an hour trying to figure out how I can switch off all those light but, finally, was forced to sleep with half lights on! When I spoke to a few other guests I discovered that they also had the same problem so without that hotel staff assistance a guest might not cope with the simply task of turning lights off! The design of that room might be excellent for an architectural magazine but not very practical for a guest.
Hotel is very good. Service is perfect. Especially reception staff. Bar is very good with big choice and quality service. I try spa center service which one was excellent of course it’s expensive but was very good. If I will go again there definitely will visit them. Thank you
I’ve stayed in Hayatt Ekaterinburg for the first time and was really surprized by the high level of services that were provided. Quality of the facility itself is really great. Room was rather spacious, though I had the standard one, and well decorated. Hotel provides complimentary water, some tea and coffee. Wi-if goes for free as well with rather good speed. There is a nice swimming pool on the 20th floor with panoramic view of the city (so don’t forget your swimming suit) open from 6 am till 11 pm, so it’s really convenient to use it. There are sauna and Hamam as well. In the hotel there are two restaurants, one with European and second with pan Asian cuisine. I’ve tried the second one and can recommend it as well. There is a choice of Japanese, Thai and others dishes. Service is quick and good. Breakfast is being serviced in the morning at the same place as European cuisine restaurant. Good choice of quality food, some dishes you may ask to cook additionally for you, like fried eggs or porridge. As a summary, I definitely would recommend to stay at this hotel and would choose it next time for my visits.
Hotel is amazing. Located in the center of Yekaterinburg gives opportunity for going around city center. Quality of rooms, internet, food is great! And views from the window is amazing. Recommended for stay!
large high-end hotel, with spa-saune-pool area on 20th floor, luxerious well-equipped rooms with very nice interior design breakfast area with good choice of dishes. hotel nicely situated near river area with parklike design and very nice view from higher up in hotel
Just perfect! Great service, nice rooms with usual organization: ours was a segment of pie, with lots of curves sounds the bed, the closets.. nice warm bathroom floor. A little too little light around the bed but more by design then cheapness. Fantastic breakfast. We left very early and could not get the breakfast but the reception organized is a pack of oranges juices and croissant: very nice!
The room I stayed at was really incredible. The view and everything. First problem was the door didn't close and I had to call technical service. Then the air conditioning couldn't be stopped, and the same. Then the water in the bathtub was yellow, and I just gave up.
The Hyatt is a breathtaking architectural venture set in the midst of similarly visionary buildings. Our rooms had superb views across the lake straight on to the Cathedral of the Spilled Blood. I wouldn't necessarily want to live in them but for a night or two they had some imaginative features. All the common areas - the lobbies, the restaurants, the spa - all have acres of space. Reception and all other services had the professionalism of a top class hotel. The food was first class. We had a misunderstanding about a bill which the general manager sorted out with polished assurance. All in all, a very good experience.
They really do a wonderful job and I find my time pleasant and efficient. I actually stay an extra day as it is a great place to relax and catch up on work. If you don't love this place you haven't stayed at other, much less enjoyable Hyatt's.
Stayed there 5 nights - but only ate there twice. Food is at high european standards - and prices are like in europe. I had hopes for more local food. I arrived at 8 in the morning and had to pay for an extra night to get the room at that time.... I don't think that 4 hours and no extra roomservice should the same as every other night. Had i paid attention - i think i would have taken a walk for a few hours and saved a bundle. Nice hotel - try to get a room at the upper floors.... Views are NICE,
