Clean rooms. Outdated hotel but don't let the (old carpet with wrinkles) hallways fool you. The rooms are have been updated and are clean. Glad there wasn't carpet on the floors. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Beds comfy and continental breakfast was more than muffins!! Will try to remember this place for next year when we come through.

Extremely small bathroom

Everything was great except for the bathroom. It was so small that you had to stand in the tub to close the door. The you literally had to squeeze yourself between the wall and shower to go to the bathroom.

I usually stay at higher rated hotels except when I’m on a fishing trip where location and price matter most. Even at the lower rating I received excellent service from the staff. I provided information to them that I needed an electrical outlet for my boat. They called me to let me know that not only could they provide one but they had coned off space in the parking lot for my boat and trailer in front of the outlet to be sure it was available to me when I arrived. They even made sure I had an extension cord (which I did have). They checked to be sure it worked for me and even asked if we were successful on each day. They definitely went above and beyond more so than I have experienced at any hotel.
