Spartan Place property made our trip for a family event in Syosset quite comfortable and we would stay there again if we ever return to NY. The communication with the Host was outstanding in that we always received timely responses to our inquiries.

I would not recommend booking this home. We were told they no longer allow short term rentals, although it still looks to be rented out on VRBO. Host put us in a different home with multiple outlets not working, no shower curtains and one bedroom in the basement that had strong smell of mold. Very frustrating to be kicked out of this rental too a much less accommodating home.

I have never had bad luck with a VRBO stay but this wasn’t great. We never got check in info until I asked. She did let us enter a little early but the grass/weeds were as tall as me and the outside of the home did not look very welcoming. The pictures for the inside were fairly accurate, but the description is not accurate. There is not 5 bed rooms, nor a king bed in the living room. It sleeps 8 max, but states it sleeps 12 and that is in far from the case. Unfortunately after paying for this home our friends had to rent a hotel room because there wasn’t enough room for us to sleep comfortably.

Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommend!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying here during the Christmas holidays, and it was an excellent experience. We were especially grateful for the accessibility features, as my grandmother (85 years young), who uses a walker and had recently undergone surgery, was able to comfortably stay on the main floor. The property had just a few steps to enter, and best of all, there was a bedroom and full bathroom on the main level, along with ample room for a walker or wheelchair.The home itself was beautifully decorated, with each bedroom featuring its own charming theme. The master bedroom, complete with an en suite bathroom, was particularly appreciated as I had my 3-year-old potty-training child with me. The ample parking space was another convenience, making it easy for our guests to visit.The backyard is massive, offering plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. The property also comes with a dishwasher and a washing machine/dryer, which made our stay even more convenient.We all thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will absolutely be booking again in the near future. The Owner was very responsive and attentive, which made the entire experience even better.Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-equipped place to stay!
