Stayed over for Christmas works do. We had been upgraded to executive room. Beautiful room lovely and warm despite freezing temperatures outside wirh very comfy bed with nice bedding and pillows. Throughout our stay the staff went out if their way to make everything perfect. Heavy snow caused staff shortages but the staff that could get in for breakfast did a great job. Nice buffet breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel. A big thank you to all the staff.
Chose here due it's location to my works Xmas party. The room was excellent as we're all the facilities they had to offer on site. All you can eat breakfast was my highlight, the bed was my wifes highlight.
we drove all the way from Ayrshire to Redditch to see panto in the Palace Theatre. we stayed at the Southcrest Manor and got it on a special online deal. Overnight stay and we ordered an evening meal with an drink. very reasonably priced and the food was excellent. Staff are very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Also as it was my wife's birthday we had the staff go the extra mile and decorate her dessert plate with happy birthday. all round excellent place who really will do more for you if you ask.
We visited for an afternoon tea as a treat for my mom's birthday and it was brilliant. The food was lovely, every treat as good as the next and amazing value for money. We had multiple pots of tea all included and the service was great. We were sat in the conservatory overlooking the gardens that happened to be covered in snow which made the afternoon that bit more special.
What a geat hotel with outstanding service (special mentions to gemma and chloe) we found a deal via 3rd party website that was very good but on the off chance i thought i would contact the hotel direct and actually got a better deal. The option we went for included a upgraded room (aminor negative the bathroom needed updating)(but the hotel did say that they where in the process of referbising the bathrooms) a 3 course dinner,a bottle of proseco, chocolates ,full english breakfast and even late check out !! So the roomover all was fine The dinner for us was one of the best hotel 3 courses meals we have ever had !. good choice, very tasty and very nicly presented The breakfast was also very good but we make the mistate of not looking at the menu as there was even more choice well worth a visit
We use this hotel quiet a lot. However recently we have not been able to travel. This was our Grandsons birthday and although the other side of Birmingham we know the hotel so decided to stay here as it is not far from M42. What can I say that I have not said before. Clean room excellent staff wonderful service very accommodating. My wife and myself are disabled and are always given a ground floor room with ease of movement. We do not have the breakfast here as if we travel my wife cannot eat so it would be a waste. However I have eaten here and have never had complaints about the food. There was a wedding in progress but our room location left us away from any noise. The gardens are lovely to walk round the autumn really brings it to life for me. Excellent stay
I stayed here on Friday as a treat after watching the Michael Buble tribute night. Firstly the Buble tribute artist was fantastic!! I could have easily believed I was listening to the man himself. The hospitality and atmosphere was fantastic and the food was outstanding! Absolutely delicious and really well presented and plentiful. The hotel is all decked out for Christmas and looks beautiful and managed to really get me in the Christmas spirit for the first time... Or was that the wine? My room was lovely, absolutely spotless and the bed was so comfortable that I slept better than I do in my own home, although that may also have something to do with the absence of my husbands snoring! In the morning I was blessed with beautiful views of the gardens, and couldn’t wait to go down for breakfast for a better look, I wasn’t disappointed, the gardens are stunning and very tranquil despite being minutes from the M42. Breakfast was delicious, buffet style and yet all well cooked and still piping hot and not dried out which can be an issue with buffet style breakfasts. The restaurant is a little dark but I hadn’t noticed this as an issue the night before when I was seated within it for the Michael Buble tribute night, so perhaps I’m being over critical. We came to the manor for Sunday lunch a few weeks ago and my whole family thoroughly enjoyed it! We tried to book again but have found it fully booked each time which is testament to the quality of the food served here from morning through to night. I found the staff throughout my time at the hotel to be helpful and friendly and like nothing was too much trouble. As with anything communication is the key, I had a minor issue with a couple of things throughout my stay but these were rectified swiftly by the extremely helpful receptionist with his heartfelt apologies as soon as I brought them to his attention. My experience is that once they’re make aware of an issue they’re willing to bend over backwards to put it right. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my family back to stay or eat at this hotel. Please pass on my compliments to the extremely talented chef and the entire team who are clearly working hard to make this hotel a success. We’ll be back soon!
We stayed for a murder mystery night at Halloween for which we paid £125 per couple for DBB including the murder mystery evening event. The set 3 course meal was good with soup. Chicken and desert. The murder mystery was great fun, everyone got into the spirit of the event and was dressed in fancy dress, although I found the plot a little disjointed and confusing but that was not controlled by the hotel. Whilst it was October and we didn’t venture into the gardens, they garden looked lovely and well kept and I’m sure would provide a great venue for a wedding. Our room was clean and well appointed with a comfy bed and a hot shower. There was some confusion over breakfast times as we were informed of the wrong timings on check-in hence arriving at the restaurant after breakfast had finished. However, the staff realised the error and rallied to provide us with a hot breakfast for which we were grateful. The bar is quite small, and whilst the barman worked tirelessly it would have been useful to have a second person serving on such a busy night. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay and great value. We would definitely return for a similar event in the future.

I've stayed here quite a few times now as it's very handy to catch up with friends and family when I'm in the area. Yet again another fabulous stay quick check in very pleasant staff and my room was great overlooking the garden area at the back. The food here is also excellent I ordered room service this time and it was very quickly bought to my room and as a solo traveler it's an ideal place plenty of car parking and the free wifi is excellent. Thank you southcrest I'll see you soon and p.s your towels are luxurious.
