My husband and I and two friends stayed overnight . On arrival staff were very friendly and continued to be so through out our stay. Bedrooms were very clean, airy and spacious. Plenty of choice for breakfast, food was hot and tasty. I would definately recommend a stay at Southcrest manor and we Intend to return.

My husband took me away for the weekend (child free) we had a executive room with meals (3 courses) and breakfast, the food was delish quite big portions, we wanted to have afternoon tea but couldn't fit any more in! Unfortunately there was a problem with the hot water in certain rooms of the hotel so after speaking with the receptionist in the end we were moved into a family room where the water was fine, she was very apologetic and understood the rarity of a weekend child free get away and was absolutely wonderful, to apologise we had a treatment each in the spa which was absolutely Devine! We also had our room rate refunded and a bottle of prosecco to enjoy together in the jacuzzi, however we didn't make it to the jacuzzi! The staff were all very friendly and I was overwhelmed gesture or apology to us, it didn't ruin our weekend and we both had a wonderful time, would definitely return, thank you for a lovely weekend

The afternoon tea is really lovely and fantastic value. We had the Manor afternoon tea, which at under £10 pp is hard to beat. Everything was freshly prepared and the service very efficient. Pots of tea continuously refreshed. If you are looking for afternoon tea in the Redditch area I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

There was litter in the hall way and hair balls and dirty marks on the carpet in our room. When we went down to breakfast there were no bowls for our cerial, I had to wait for the bowls and then the fruit and yoghurt which were all gone. I had to ask for bread for the toast then butter then marmalade as it was all gone and not refilled. I then went up to get my cooked breakfast all the eggs were gone. I had to wait for the eggs when I eventually got back to my table they had cleared away my toast and coffee and all my dishes even though my handbag was on my seat. The evening meals were no better my husband"s curry was dry and his steak was all sinews and fat. I sat in the lounge in the morning and it still had crisps and finger prints all over the seats from the night before and a windowsill full of dead flies. I advise anyone to stay clear of this hotel. The only good thing about this hotel was the receptionist Michelle [--] she was exceptional.

Room very spacious, location just where I needed for business, very clean and comfortable, staff were very peasant and not intrusive into my personal space, amenities were of high standard and all for a very reasonable price.

I booked 2 nights here for my husband's birthday. We stayed in a standard room as the better rooms had sold out for the days we wanted. Check in was slow - the lady was new but friendly. They took a £25 holding fee per night on our card which I cant really understand and would have preferred not to but didnt argue it. The room was clean and modern and had a lovely big window so was nice and bright.. was very hot though. Thankfully there was a fan in the room though which helped. We didn't eat here so can't comment on that. The bed and pillows were rather firm, I woke up with a stiff back both mornings but my husband said he was fine so just depends what you like. The Friday night was lovely and quiet so got to sleep easily. The Saturday night was a wedding party and the music was still going after midnight - most places music goes off at 11 so was a little annoyed by this. Although the children in the car park revving their parents car and shouting was more annoying. The next morning we woke up to see a car had rolled backwards into another car. We were thankful it wasn't ours!! Check out should have been quick and easy but the new lady thought we had a bill to settle which we didn't.. another member of staff checked it and said no it's what we'd paid for the room! I booked my husband a back massage for the Sunday morning, he said the massage itself was really good however there was no relaxing music and he could hear everything outside the room which took away from it a bit. Both the girls we saw were nice and friendly. Finally, yesterday morning I checked my bank on my phone as I always do and found I'd been charged the £50 holding fee! I rung up and was told it was the new lady and it had happened to quite a few people. Not good! Sounds like she could do with some more training. The money has now been refunded but we wouldn't stay here again I'm afraid.

Stayed for the murder mystery night which included room for the night, murder mystery evening, 3 course meal and breakfast served the next morning. Evening was great fun, food was excellent both evening meals and breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful Rooms were very clean and comfortable Well worth the money highly recommended.

No frills at this hotel, but it is a perfectly good place to stay, well located near the center of Redditch. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. The food was reasonable and there was good service from all hotel staff.

We stayed here for my husbands birthday , The room was lovely , very clean just as was the rest of the hotel , Breakfast was lovely we both enjoyed it , the Staff were all helpful and friendly especially the lady on reception , who I can remember her name sorry ! we will do plan to return soon :-)

To celebrate my sister-in-law's 80th birthday 28 of us had afternoon tea at the Southcrest Manor Hotel, Redditch, excellent service and a beautiful afternoon tea, perfect for the occasion. The food, and the presentation was mouthwatering, I would highly recommend it as a family get together in the Terry suite.
