The heater in my room didn’t work, it was very cold so they gave me a small electric heater. Something wrong with the toilet, all night you could hear the water in it running. Also, when I reserved the room, there was an option to pay cash at the hotel, but I had to put my card on file for security purposes.. I wasn’t given the option to pay cash, they automatically charged my credit card at check in without confirmation, without asking. Very displeased.
The hotel was conveniently located and easy to make connections from. The breakfast bar was lacking some of the usual amenities but overall was ok. Had trouble in that we had to keep going to the motel office to reset the room keys to work each day. They worked until the normal checkout time, then stopped. This happened each day. The staff cheerfully reset the room key card, but it was annoying to have to do this.
It was ok. Bar next door was great with great music.
CONNECTIVITY TO DOWNTOWN IS POOR. HOTEL AESTHETICS ARE POOR
i stay at many hotels on business, and i must say. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. 1 of the lights kept flikering - the fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet engine - the couch cushings would not go down because the bed springs inside it were broken - the freezer in the fridge was one big block of ice - there were burn marks on the furniture - you had to keep jigling the toilet handle to make the water stop - you had to keep your feet on the sides of the tub when you took a shower because when you steped in the middle of the tub, it felt like you were going to fall thru - i could go on but i think thats enough.
Room was not very clean, towels were not big enough or additionals provided and the towel rack came right off the bathroom wall. TV was outdated and picture fuzzy for most if not all channels. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
I really like the hotel, because it looks like everything is at your disposal. Like the club house which is right in front of hotel, the mall, and the trees look great because I like nature. The rooms is big enough and always nice and clean, the internet access was awesome, I really do like their continental breakfast too, and believe they have a great good staffs who are always willing to help.
The Econo Lodge is a very good value for the price, especially if you are looking to save money. I would reccomend the hotel for someone who just needs a place to sleep. If you are looking for a spa sort of hotel to relax in...this would not be it. But overall the stay was pleasant and we will most likely be staying at an Econo Lodge again!
