It's an older facility, but all in all very clean. The pool / hot tub themselves were clean, as was the pool deck, surrounding area, etc. The equipment in the pool area though (ventilation, ductwork, etc) is obviously old and needs replacing. All in all, it's a very nice facility. The Normal Rockwell exhibit is truly amazing. I would stay here again - absolutley.

Very nice stay at the Voyager Inn

Our check-in was very friendly and efficient. Our room was clean, comfortable, equipped with a coffee maker w/coffee & creamer, a microwave, and a nice sized refrigerator and freezer. We found a grocery store right across the street from the hotel. The night we arrived, there was live entertainment in the ballroom. We enjoyed the clean hot tub, but found the pool area walls and ceiling desperately needing an update that cleaning and paint would greatly improve. Adding a shower and changing room in the pool area should be considered as showering is required before entering the pool or hot tub, necessitating showering in the room, then walking through the halls while heading to the pool. The hotel stay included a very nice breakfast in the restaurant on site. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is a little dated but i loved thrle overall vibe. The room.was spacious, clean, staff was wonderful and the brrakfast was great. If your looking for a great place to stay for the night, i would recommend it

Our room was clean, the bed was VERY comfortable, heating system was good, there was a larger than usual fridge, and we liked the decor. We got coupons at the front desk for a free breakfast at the onsite restaurant (there were four choices for hot breakfasts) and we had tasty food and outstanding service. My only complaint is about the smells in the 1st floor hallways—the carpet seemed overdue for replacement and had a variety of unpleasant, funky smells.

Small Town Great Find

The staff is wonderful. Rhonda goes out of her way to ensure requests are carried out if appropriate. The free breakfast is great & I do not miss the standard hotel buffet breakfast. All the front desk staff are equally a delight & all greet guests with a smile. I swim most nights & the pool is perfectly temped and the local health club maintains it. What it lacks in “modern” decor is made up by the small town feel, friendliness & thoughtfulness.

It's an old retro inn. Lighting is very poor and the beds were not very comfortable. Reception desk lady was kinda robot. Very plain, no greeting, no smile. We didn't feel welcomed. The floor carpet is extremely old (Not Hygienic for Infants). Breakfast is another tricky part. You get coupons from the reception and then take them to the restaurant for your free breakfast that has a limited menu. Hence overall stay was OKAY not Exceptional. Voyageur Inn has to step up their game big time to sustain in this competitive Hotel Market.

Retro feel

Overall this really is a good place to stay. Onsite restaurant and bar was very convenient. Everyone was really helpful professional and courteous. But it’s showing its age. I’d stay here again though.

The staff at the front we rude I requested to be contacted by staff and have not yet. We overheard the staff making racial comments about us directly to another guest completely unacceptable and unprofessional would appreciate a call about this and my money returned thank you! If not I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.
