The only downside to this property was the size of our room, it's pretty small, a queen bed, and a single business-type chair at the desk are the only furnishings, well, there are also night stands and closet. It was comfortable enough but it quickly became cramped for us after the second day. I could not imagine having kids share the room. No pets are allowed. The room was equipped with a fridge and small microwave, a walk-in shower but no tub. A separate vanity and sink was a plus. The TV programming was above average with several HBO selections. The WI-FI seemed to work well enough and there is a good 4G signal. Everything was clean and well maintained.Front desk personnel were friendly and professional. We had to extend our stay, and that was handled quickly with no issues. Housekeeping was friendly and helpful. If you forgot your laptop charger like I did, there is a nice Dell system in the lobby equipped with Windows 7 Professional and Office Suite. Being in the lobby there is no privacy. Breakfast was the usual continental style, well stocked, with waffle machine but no bacon! There is no elevator to the second floor, I would recommend a room on the first floor close to the lobby. High-numbered rooms may provide you quite a hike to the lobby and breakfast
Mattress was so hard I could not get any sleep. Purchased a foam cover for the mattress the next morning, but still didn't help. Limited selection of continental breakfast items. Overall, I would have been better to have slept in my pickup truck.
Quick and friendly check-in. Clean and neat lobby area. Room was adequate - not as much floor space as some hotels, but enough. All the amenities expected were provided. Enclosed shower, but no tub. Comfortable and "cozy."
The room was clean. Do not expect a tub to relax in after a long day. Our room had a shower only. The night desk clerk needs a refresher in customer service. The TV was not functioning properly and she seemed so irritated to have to come to the room to check it. No smile, no hello -- just attitude. The morning breakfast was average.
First I want to say that I would never have stayed at this hotel on my own. This hotel was booked for me by the company that I was traveling for. This hotel is more like a motor lodge than a hotel. There is no fitness facility, and there is no where in the immediate area to even take a run. There were several contractors that were staying there, which was fine, however, with them came mud and dirt, not only throughout the parking lot that I then had to drive through, but also in the hallways. One day there were several contractors that were in the parking lot apparently smoking marijuana and then came into the hotel. The final straw for me was the roach that I had to kill that was crawling on the wall.
We were traveling very late on Christmas Eve and needed a budget friendly place for a few hours rest. We were not familiar with Sleep Inn, but it was close by and offered a reasonable rate.... The desk clerk was friendly and helpful, and check in was a breeze. The room was a little small, but it appeared to be well maintained and very clean. The bed was comfortable, the room quiet, and we were able to get some much needed rest for our Christmas day travel. Breakfast was fine with a modest selection, enough to satisfy and save us a restaurant stop as we got back on the road. Should we need an inexpensive room that is clean and safe, we will be looking at Sleep Inn in the future, and should we be in Kernersville, NC again, this hotel will definitely be our first stop.....
The hotel could use some updating. First room assigned, the door stuck and would not open. Housekeeping could not get in either. Second room was fine. Shower stall had crack in floor of the plastic and could use replacing.
The rooms are smaller than I like but I had plenty of business space to work with in the room. Shower stall needs a place to put toiletry items. If you are a night time worker do not stay on the first floor--very noisy at all times (could have been whoever was above me). The manager Pam, was awesome. Would stay again if in the area. Also as a corporate lodging member I got my points which is a rarity with most hotels we stay at. Kudos to this hotel for that. We are away from home almost every week with work and those points are sometimes lifesavers for some R & R. Hotel was clean, I only ate yogurt and drank milk for breakfast so I can't speak for the breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to others.
Good value for the price. A bit shop worn look and smell. Pleasant reception personnel. Breakfast fine, but don't be there a minute after 9:00 for coffee or you'll meet surly clean up crew. Small rooms but comfortable, nice that there are extra pillows. Very nice that there is a refrigerator and microwave. Bathroom tiny but clean.
What a lovely hotel, from entering the reception and given a warm welcome nothing seemed to much trouble. The room was lovely. Breakfast had plenty of choice from cereal, pastries to waffles. Easy access from the main road, Would highly recommend this hotel
