Room was very clean with a nice updated kitchen. Would have loved nicer linens. The facilities like the basketball court and mini tennis was awesome. Breakfast was also very nice.
Had an issue on arrival. Once staff was notified, it was handled to my satisfaction.
I stayed at this place a year ago; a 5 day business trip but brought my family including 2 1/2 yr old son. we checked in late at night and upon arrival in our room, found it to be a handicapped room with no tub and not very clean. the service level when I complained was AWFUL even though the mission statement I pointed to said any employee could solve any problem at any time. I asked for a manager to call me back - no one did but they moved me to a better room the next day. I never would have booked this place again, but it was the last place available in the whole area for my trip this year. the 2 staff members I interacted with were very personable and accomodating, and my room was comfortable, reasonably clean, and in a good location. It does need to be updated, old carpet and furniture, but thanks to a much better experience this year, I look forward to staying there again.
This was our first stay at the Residence Inn- W/S. We do plan on staying again in the near future as we have a son attending WFU. The suite was clean and is located close to the campus. The bonus is having a DD with-in walking distance! We will request at our next visit for a suite on the second floor to avoid early morning heavy footed risers waking us. The Inn was recommended to us by [...] other Parent's who have stayed while visiting WFU.
Was like being at home
We loved the hotel and the location. We enjoyed several stores and fast foods places being within walking distance. We also enjoyed the spacious rooms and hospitality. We also enjoyed the basketball court in the middle of the hotel with the picnic table. The breakfast was wonderful (especially compared to other hotels we have visited).
