Cynthia and the gals at Residence Inn were more than accommodating. They really went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible! I would highly recommend them to anyone visiting the Winston Salem area.

I stayed at this Marriott and it was one of the best hotel stay I ever had. The front desk staff and the ladies at breakfast went above and beyond to make everyone feel real special. The service was excellent. The staff seems to be genuinely happy with their job. My room was very clean, beautiful and spacious. The full kitchen was an added bonus. This hotel is manage extremely well. I'll definitely return to stay at this hotel again.

I thought Hotel was going to be a flop being in the middle of nowhere, however, I was wrong, everything about this hotel was on spot. The staff was great as well as the rooms. When I went to go get breakfast, thought I was getting some grits (had a moment) and they were egg whites. That's okay though everything was good Thanks Residence Inn!!! Best, Jasper

Came for a program at Wake Forest. Front staff was nice, which prevented a one-star rating, but the room was a disappointment. The construction is poor quality with warped floorboards under the linoleum kitchen floor and carpets elsewhere. The arm chair upholstery is past its prime. Lampshades cracked and crooked. The scent from cleaning product was very heavy, trying to mask lingering traces of smoke in our room (perhaps our mistake in not verifying, having booked an upgrade from our non-smoking room and assuming the nonsmoking requirement would carry over). Tile in the bath was cracked and harbors residual grit at the corners. First time at a Residence Inn, and we will not be in a hurry to come back. This property has seen a lot of use, and the cost is not commensurate with the low quality. We're still waiting to hear from the manager after complaining on checkout.

Loved our stay in Winston Salem. The suite was immaculate and quiet. The grounds and facilities were well kept and maintained and the entire staff was warm and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and Cynthia was probably the most hospitable hostess I've ever met. Felt like home and we'll be back.

We had to hole up here for a week with my family of four plus 50 lb. dog while work was being done to our house. The room was a great size, with separate bedrooms and two full baths. The kitchenette was helpful though we didn't use it as much as some would. It was great having hot breakfast every morning to help get the kids off to school without having to buy a bunch of stuff for the kitchen. All the ladies that staffed the breakfast each morning were delightful; friendly and helpful. Sometimes they even switched one of the televisions in the dining room from the news to a kids' show--though I felt a little guilty because of the other guests forced to watch 'The Cat in the Hat.' The room had a rather strong odor of smoke, despite being clearly designated No Smoking. Maybe coming from another room, but they all seemed to be Non Smoking. I would definitely recommend the place for any extended stay.

Older property, but spotlessly clean.. very quiet for my stay of 3 nights. Staff from front desk, room attendants, to breakfast staff were fantastic: friendly , helpful, willing to help...would stay here again!!! A+++

We stayed for two days at this property and werevery impressed. Checking in with Annie was very pleasant, informative and helpful. The room was spacious and spotless. Breakfast and evening social were splendid. We could not ask for a better Marriott Experience and we'll definitely return to stay at this Residence Inn again. Thanks to all the staff for the excellent accommodations.

This hotel was the perfect option for us, do to the fact that we were traveling with my mother-in-law. It was like having a mini apartment! We stayed in the upstairs loft and she was able to stay on the first floor. We chose this property because this is the property that our group recommends each year and they get a block of rooms. I had also stayed at one of these properties in LaJolla, CA and it was perfect because I had to be there for a full week. There is a nice breakfast option included and a evening sip and mingle. It is not a super fancy property, but a nice home away from home. Also, the staff is extremely friendly a very accommodating!!

We had a great stay at the Residence Inn. Our room was on the first floor in building 2 and it has two air conditioner units that sit outside the bedroom window. If you are noise sensitive - keep away from these type rooms because every time the A/C unit came on, I could hear it, very well, in this room. Only one unit ran throughout the night = this could be a noise problem during summer months. The room was a perfect size, the kitchen was clean and the towels in the bathroom were thick and wonderful. The mattress was dreamy, cushy and very comfortable. There was a sleeper/sofa in our room. This would be convenient if another bed was needed - kid friendly. The morning breakfast was a good standard Marriott hotel continental breakfast - waffles, eggs, meats, cereals, yogurt and fresh fruit. The staff was friendly and professional. The hotel location is convenient for shopping and getting on and of highway 52. We liked everything about this Residence Inn and would stay here again.
