Happy with our stay. Wasn’t anything extravagant but had attached restaurant/bar, friendly staff and rooms that filtered most of the ruckus and noise out. Nice splash pad type area for littles, deeper pool for the bigger kids and a fairly good sized hot tub for the adults. Overall happy and would definitely stay again .

Traveling Construction Worker - Stayed in a multitude of hotels, but had my girlfriend come up for the weekend. I had to work during the day, so I wanted something a bit nicer for her to spend the days in. I reserved the king suite with a jacuzzi tub in the room. The first issue i had was at check in. I rang the bell, and the woman, who was nowhere to be seen, comes out of the doorway and exclaims "I was coming!" My girlfriend exited the room and was hit with a rotten egg smell. Front desk stated this happens when they dont have many guests, and the housekeepers are instructed to flush the toilets in the empty rooms... The TV's are from the early 2000s and dont give the option to stream unless you've got something with an HDMI plug in. The breakfast is sub par - Jimmy deans microwavable breakfast sandwiches and cereal... no bagged eggs, sausages, bacon, waffles, pancakes, etc.... nothing that requires more than staff placing the items in the refrigerator. Some of these issues may seem miniscule, but I stayed across the street in the Holiday Inn... the TV immediately asked if I'd like to sign into a streaming service, the breakfast was cooked by an actual person and set out to enjoy.. no smell of rotten eggs.. and 2/3rd the price. Majority of the time, I stay at americinn and, imagine that, almost exactly similar to Holiday Inn.. Would not stay here again.

Change from 1st room because heatwr was extremely loud. 2nd room heater hardly worked. Moring found numerous live and dead bugs on floor. Likely wont stay hwre again in the near future. This was prior always a great place to stay in Winona it has lost its status.

The hallway banister had dust on them, cob webs behind the toilet and floor way dirty by the pool, garbages in common areas packed full. $3.50 per can a pop while pop machine is out of order. For one of the most expensive motels in town i expected more. HOLIDAY EXPESS IS A BETTER VALUE.
