our stay was short but it wasnt bad the beakfast needs improvement

This hotel was a disappointment. From the outside one could see that many of the windows had screening that was coming out, probably from vandalism, or simply from poor maintenance. Our room had a bedspread with a hole on top that was ripped, which was replaced when we asked, however the spreads were very threadbare. There was a dirty ring on top of one of the wood furniture pieces that was from a former guest's cup of cocoa. The bedside table top was scarred and a large area was covered with some type of dried glue.

My room was dirty. The bathroom hadn't even been cleaned. I called down to the desk. The staff member came up and was grossed out by the condition of the room, and switched me to another one. It was clean but not sparkling. The next morning the staff at checkout was talking about the dirty room, and I said it had been mine before being switched. They blamed it on a particular housekeeper and were going to send a different one up to clean it. Super 8 used to be a reliable place for us to stay in our travels. They were always clean and felt safe. The last few times I have stayed in this one it seems to be a magnet for loiterers in the parking lot, and the appearance of the place has declined.

We rented 2 rooms for 1 week of work. doing construction in the area. the staff was rude, the guest were mostly drug users and undesirables. our truck was robbed of $1000.00 worth of tools and hotel refused to help us and let us view security cameras. there are vagrants all over the parking lot. JUST A VERY VERY BAD ENVIRONMENT , and this is a group of grown MEN stating this. construction workers!

The first room that they gave us had a dog barking across the hallway in other room which you could hear clearly in our room and the blankets had cigarette burns on them and rug was very worn, the room smelled musty. Asked for another room stating the dog barking was an issue with us. The desk clerk stated that the dog did not bark all the time and called the room and no answer, stating when the owner was home he did not bark. We asked if he could guarantee this. He then changed our room down the hall which was cleaner, no cigarette burns in blankets, the beds and pillows were not very comfortable. We had stayed at this hotel 5yrs ago several times and never had an issue until till this visit. I will never stay here again.

very convenient people were friendly beds comfortable quiet. hallways were clean. minor issue-not big deal-the room assigned to us was already occupied-the lady said she had to change rooms. so whoever switched her, never input in computer so the nice girl at the desk had no clue and assigned to us. she was so apologetic not her fault. we got another room only issue there was the toilet had black ring and a counter was built over the toilet so you couldn't but the seat up all the way. maybe that room is not used much?? the negative was the breakfast. some of fruit was bad/rotten utensils were put above/up high- with no signs showing where bowls should be near the cereal along with spoons. there was maybe 5 slices of bread to toast and about 4 pkg of danish. not major issue, which i am glad as we are staying at a super 8 in harrington, del in a few weeks

Motel exceeded our expectations, and most importantly it was a good value for this time of year.

This hotel is exactly what you expect from a Super 8. Nothing fancy but it does the job. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly. On the not so positive side, the TVs are at least 10 years old, and the breakfast was not much more than carbohydrates. But if you plan on spending time in the Brattleboro/Keene area and would rather spend your hard earned vacation dollars on something other than a hotel, the Super 8 in Brattleboro is a good option.

I stayed for 3 nights, and the hotel was very clean and worth the money.

Nothing to write home about but decent accommodations a couple miles from downtown Brattleboro. Don't expect lots of the ole' New England charm.

It was a cheap place to stay. Room was average. Their was places to eat near by

Clean and friendly atmosphere. Free wifi. Kurig coffee maker in room.

My husband and I stayed one very cold winter night and our room had no heat. We asked the front desk clerk to come to the room to see if he could get the heater started. Once he looked at the heater he said he would have maintenance look at it the next morning. We asked to be moved to a warm room and, after some hesitation (because there were only 4 rooms left), he went to the desk to see if he could move us - he did and that room had heat. Although the room was nonsmoking, the bathroom smelled heavily of smoke and all our clothes smelled strongly of smoke when we left. They smelled like we had been in a bar all night.

Awful! The place smelled of stale cigarette smoke even though the entire floor was non smoking.

We visit family in the area regularly and just need a clean, basic place to sleep. We've done the Econolodge in past years, but Super 8 is definitely better. Larger room, indoor hallways as opposed to walking outside to get to the office/breakfast area. This is a basic but very acceptable place. No complaints for the price we paid.

The hotel was ok. The room smelled pretty bad though and I felt that it was in terrible need of updating.

it was nice clean freindly the coffee in the room not so good but i would stay again thank you

This is a great value for business trips. It is clean and relatively inexpensive. It is no honeymoon suite but it does the job for a night stay for work. Microwave and fridge in the room and free WiFi were very important to me and are all provided. If you are a light sleeper, I recommend higher floors or ear plugs.

This was bad. I have been in hotel/motels 20 + days this year. I have a winner for worst! The staff was uneventful. Not very knowledgable of the area. I asked how to get to a local attraction three exits away and they had never heard of it! The room was clean. But so small! The bed was one double. The fridge was a afterthought stacked up on the furniture with a small microwave stacked on top of it! Very getto. The bathroom was very small also. Breakfast was a joke! The converted a room to a breakfast area. It had four small tables in there. It was horrid. Thank god there was a friendly's next door. Do not stay here. This was our only option but the area is full of hotels.

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel. It is a basic, clean, and friendly place to stay. When I visit VT I am only sleeping in the hotel. The facility is also in the middle of business such as resturants and grocery or drug stores. All are within very short walking distance. I have no problem recommending the Super 8.
