We had a fantastic one night stay here. Even in a short visit everything exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, with the roast and breakfast being real highlights. Both were cooked to perfection and clearly had high quality ingredients. Our room was very comfortable, clean and well maintained, with everything we needed. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Staff were brilliant, so kind and helpful. Really went the extra mile. Close proximity to amenties, such as windermere. Food was impeccable, we thoroughly enjoyed. Room very quirky and clean. We were placed next to the log burner for dinner, which staff kindly accomodated. Overall 9/10 Only marked down due to only having full fat milk available for breakfast, which we aren't able to drink so missed out on our coffee. We have rebooked already for summer.
