My family had a great experience here. We only stayed 3 nights, and wished we could have spent a week here! The room was exceptionally clean, and the staff was professional and courteous. The room itself was top rate as well, especially the kitchen and master bath. We will definitely stay here again.
I like the location clean and big condo close to down town
Very nice property. Will definitely be returning
Great location, comfortable unit, catered to families with children.
We will definitely come back/re-book next time we're overnight in the Williamsburg area. We're a family of 5 who does not want to be in one hotel room and this solution was perfect, it was a beautifully updated unit.
Kids loved the uniquely designed pool and water slide! We loved the 2-bedroom/2-bath condo vs. staying in a one-room hotel. Very roomy for a family of 5!
It was clean and relaxing. Kids enjoyed the pool. We were able to see the fireworks from Busch gardens on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We were disappoint that the bedroom set up we requested was not available. Orbitz game an option for the three bedrooms with a king bed, queen bed and two twins. That set up was not available. Also no direct access to Busch gardens park. Had about a ten minute drive to get there. Also the train was not as much as an issue as some reviews made it sound.
Not really a Hotel or Resort but for a property with all condos, the amenities were good. Nice pool, game room etc.
We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit with 4 adults and 4 kids. It was great!
Great family resort. So close to the Busch Gardens. The 2 bedroom was huge. Perfect space for a family of 4. We will be booking again with Parkside in the future.
The property itself isn't horrible to look at, but keep in mind that you're basically staying in a time share where Kees owns a block of rooms. I didn't realize this until after booking. Don't even expect low end hotel services, even though they charge you a resort fee of $12/night. The worst part was the TRAIN. It literally felt like we were staying at Grand Central Station. The whole apartment would shake like there was an earthquake & the sound of the train & the horn seemed like it was literally on top of you. There are other reviews that mention the train & I should have checked reviews more carefully before booking this, but what made it difficult to research this property is the "Kees" name. I didn't realize that it was the same property as the "Ascend" Parkside Resort because they have different addresses. "Kees" is 300 Century Lane, & "Ascend" is 1827 Merrimac Trail! The addresses are completely different so they aren't near each other, but it is the SAME PROPERTY. I think this obfuscation with the addresses is intentional. Another issue, being a time share property, was being subjected to the sales pitch & asking if you wanted to attend. The bait and switch is that you think you're booking a hotel, but you're really not getting a hotel stay experience. Lastly, the name is a lie too - "Parkside." It's one of the few properties NOT on the same side as Busch Gardens, and it takes longer to get there because you're separated by the train tracks.
It was good the only problem we had was we were double charged but that was fixed when i called.
This is the 3rd time we have stayed at a Bluegreen location and it was an OK place to stay. While the room was spacious, the cleanliness was subpar. There was hair all around the unit from the previous occupants. While the pool was great for the kids, it offered little for the adults and there was no hot tub. The location of the pool is far from all units and requires that you traverse the entrance of the facility which is not the best if you have small kids. Location is great if you are going to Busch Gardens since it’s across the street but you still have to drive a few miles down to cross the train tracks. Overall it’s a decent hotel but the price point is a bit high and there are other locations that have better kid friendly activities if you are going to do more than just visit Busch Gardens.
Room was excellent the beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever had on a vacation the employees were very friendly we would definitely stay here again we are already planning our next vacation
I was very surprised by how nice the hotel was. Excellent design, comfort and loved that the washer and dryer units were easily accessible. We had a great stay and found it to be a great value for the money.
We actual were given a home instead of a hotel room, the presidential row. The home was beautiful, plenty of room. The family did not want to leave. Could use more teen games in game room. Would like to return.
