Lodging near Willapa National Wildlife Refuge

"Staff was fabulous. Every employee was great. Upon entering our room we noticed a flyer that instructed anyone in hotel to make sure the bathroom door and fan were on when taking shower as it would set off entire complex fire alarm. Crazy. First day it had went off twice during day. I thought this was kinda crazy as no one knew why, it was just shut off and no one came out, no one checked nor seemed to bat an eye. 318am on our last night stay, the fire alarm went off again. Entire complex. Not only did it scare our children, animals in other rooms were going nuts and when something like that happens especially at night, no one feels safe so we clearly were all up and ended up by having to check out at 6am as it ruined our plan of sleeping in, hanging out and leaving at check out time. Once again no fire dept, no checking building it was simply shut off and crazy to me that this should be some sort of violation and code enforcement issue. Our other complaint was animals are not to be left unattended. Our neighboring room left their animal unattended and it barked for 1hr straight before we left to go to beach. Thankfully it was day time but I definitely think this would have been an issue if our children were smaller and trying to nap. Fire pits out side were broken and no propane- I believe one outside worked for neighboring building and that is all. For having such great employees you would think the premises would reflect."

"Older facility with comfortable bed, clean room. Furniture older and worn. Refrig and freezer worked. "

"Clean adorable place to stay! Close to town/everything but quiet and not a lot of outside noise. Cafe walking distance from the room! Will be staying here again!"
