It's very close to the ocean. You can wander the seashore for miles. It's wonderful to leave the patio/balcony door ajar and go to sleep to the sound of the ocean. Sadly, the property is a bit run down. Although clean, it could use some serious upgrading. The complementary breakfast was very sad, especially for a diabetic and the coffee was awful. Had breakfast elsewhere during the rest of our stay.

I liked the property in general it was frustrating that the pool had a sign up that you don't know about until you get there so I didn't call in advance to get us added for an hour the night we arrived. However we did sign up for 1st thing in the morning and it was a nice pool. The breakfast in the morning was more than I expected. I would definitely stay there again.

It was nice place, just needs a little updated. Carpet stained. Over all I would stay there again

Beautiful scenery, great staff and lots to do

Room old, no decor, old chairs, carpet stains

It was clean and updated. Friendly staff and grounds were clean. I like it is close to beach. The only negative thing I have to say above us was a room with 4 very loud kids and they were so loud it sounded like they were doing construction above us mixed with a bowling alley. I finally called the office at 11 pm and asked for them to please address the noise. Unfortunately it didnt really help. Two nights with out a lot of sleep was annoying and the staff apologized. We were offered another room but at that point I didn't want to move our things late at night. So my advice is please check that you do not put a family with 4 kids above a couple who was looking for relaxation. Thank you

( 2ND FLOOR CONDO UNIT )Property is old and in need of remodeling. The ease of beach access/discovery trail, parking, distance to town, make the accommodations worth it even with the bad. If your reading reviews on this property, you’ve already acknowledged the risk on a reservation. We’re not picky people. We have stayed in expensive nice places and also stayed in mediocre places. It’s all about what you want to spend on that particular vacation. The place could have been cleaned a little better. The mattress’s are old. The balcony is nice but unless your on the top floor, sand from the 2 upper levels will fall on you or your stuff between the 1 inch deck gaps across the entire balcony. Our biggest complaint would be the PAPER THIN walls. Everything can be heard (ceiling, walls, floor). We would stay again if the price was right and there wasn’t any comparable price options left.

Our room wasn’t ready at 4. But they have us a kitchenette at 7pm! So we were more than satisfied

close beach access and rooms were clean. Pool and friendly staff.

The room was basic with a lot of wear and tear on it. The detectors light up the whole room when the lights are turned off. The sliding glass door was wonky. The pool was closed without any notice. The elevator smelled of urine. The staff was nice. Not to far from the ocean and the view was great!

facility needs refurbishing. Very difficult to close and lock door. Hairdryer blew up in my hand when I put it on.

Super awesome! Quiet and peaceful! We saw deer every day and our room was great! (Second floor, beach view) The only thing was that the pool floor and hot tub was a grimy due too high occupancy.

Good Location to walk the Beach, Clean room, ample parking and friendly staff

The front desk lady was so nice and pleasant. The facility is close to downtown Long Beach but far enough to be real quiet. I would recommend and plan to return. Too bad they can't always give me the great weather

It close to the beach and has great access to the discovery trail. Great trail for you and your pet.

Perfect for kids, on bike trail, pool and hot tub.

Room was very outdated, small, old, wall heater didn’t have enough power to heat up the room so it stayed cold all night, only 2 pilows for bed and flimsy bed sheets didn’t help to stay worm, bethroom also was TOO cold to do anything there. Surrounding were nice, eady access to the beach, loved all the trails.
