We used to love staying here but all of the things we loved about this hotel are long gone. They no longer have fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, the breakfast was old/cold and gross, no bottled water in the room, and the pet fee is ridiculous ($40 per pet, per night). There are too many other places to stay in Long Beach that are just as nice (if not nicer), have great beds, and offer a cheaper pet fee ($25 per pet, per night). We won’t be back.

I will start this by saying we have stayed in a lot of hotels recently. The room they gave us was pretty much in the lobby and eating area, so it was incredibly noisy. When I asked for a different room that was further away, I was told there were no other king rooms available. The beds were very hard ( I finally fell asleep at about 4 AM.) and the breakfast was not very good. I tried the scrambled eggs, and they were kind of wet. There was water in the chafing dish. The bacon seem like microwave, bacon, and the biscuits and gravy were definitely not fresh. They seem to start working on laundry a good hour before we checked out. We were right across the hall from it and it was ridiculously noisy. Pros- Proximity to restaurants and shops
