Very friendly staff and rooms met expectations, although there was some sand on the couch.
Location:was closw to the boardwalk. What i disnt like was that the staff harrassed us and was very rude. I will never stay here again
Room had flies in it upon check in. Sofa bed was sloped downward and mattress needed replacing you could feel the bars in the bed frame
Wifi was out both days and there wasn't any mention that the pool was under construction.
We were able to check in which was a plus, bathroom ceiling leaked every time the room above us showered & it was awful hard to get the cool air from the bedroom to living room. Blasted it on 60 and high pretty much the our whole stay. Other than that I have no complaints, cabinets were stocked with dishes for you to use, daily housekeeping, patio with grills and tables and a gated pool & Easy check out.
The Diamond Crest was a great place to stay. A friend and I just wanted a couple day get-away at Wildwood Crest in early October and choose the Diamond Crest Hotel. Upon arriving, we met the friendly manager who checked us in and talked to us for 15 minutes. We had two of the studio rooms with king sized beds. The Rooms were spacious and immaculate. The beds were comfortable. Because we were off season, the total cost of our stay was $99 and some change. Simply amazing. The heated pool was still open and we were able to take advantage. Overall- GREAT STAY.
The guy at the desk was extremely helpful. Our exhaust fan in the bathroom wasn't working so it was really steamy and the shower curtain literally would wrap itself around you which my wife didn't like and the heater for the pool wasn't working but it was off season and I'm positive it's a great place when it's summer, just not sure if I'm going to be back to find out.
The location is great. A park, bike rental and beach is across the street. The room was nasty. It was old, full of flies/fruit flies. Room was completely outdated. Regardless of the nasty room, we tried to make the best of it and made use of the little kitchen.
