Incredible views. Staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was pleasant.
Great place with excellent views
This hotel is super charming. I had to give 4 stars cause the cleanliness was terrible. The bathroom floor was so sticky that we had to lay towels all over the floor and our feet were so sticky the towels would stick to our feet. I feel whatever was on that floor would be noticeable to house keeping so they must rarely clean it. The front desk was super nice at check in but not where to be found at check out. There are limited places to stay in Whittier so I still recommend it just know it won’t be clean
Todd the owner does a great job with this charming Inn. The food in the restaurant is spot on and you will often catch Todd checking in with guests to assure that they have everything they need. The views are breathtaking and if you find yourself in Whittier, make sure you end up at the Inn.
The staff is really nice. They want you to have a good time and relax. The town house is really cool.
This uniquely beautiful building directly on the harbor was very pleasant. The location is next door to the Alaska Marine ferry depot, next to that is a large glacier tour boat operation. In front of the hotel is a dock where boats pick-up and drop off people for fishing. One can size up their catch from the rooms. The dining room was the most pleasant of our trip: all-wood interior with beams and windows all around the room. We very much liked the pepper halibut, one of the best meals. The owner/manager/operator/bus boy/etc. is very personable and constantly busy helping guests in any way they need.
Beautiful view of the bay and mountains from rooms..
BEAUTIFUL ~ the INN is located directly on the water. Surrounded by mountains on 3 sides. The owner could not be more accommodating. Fresh fish on dining menu & a bar adjacent to dining room with live music. The Alaska I loved seeing & the views to Anchorage airport (one hour) beautiful as well. Don’t miss this quaint little fishing town of Whittier & Prince William Sound.
The place where the hotel is localed is spectacular. Consistent with the environment. The restaurant is very good.
Super good staff, Todd, Crystal, Gary n the Super Lovely Suzee!! Great position, good parking n super decor!
The most beautiful Inn with a view of Prince William Sound. The Staff is wonderful! We had breakfast, blueberry pancakes with wild Alaska blueberries, in the hotel restaurant! I literally couldn't stop looking out the window! I could live there!
Very poor restaurant. $15 for a two egg breakfast that was cold, coffee terrible, packets of grape jelly for toast. Only positive was the view.
For the price per night I would expect a bit more. The room was basically a place to sleep and nothing else. No refrigerator or anything special. All the soda vending machines were broken. Went to have dinner at the restaurant and they had no red wine! The waiter was able to find a cheap bottle of chardonnay laying around somewhere. They did cook a nice filet mignon though. I would stay here again only because it is steps from where you catch your charter boat.
