The Telephone Exchange is a brand new appointed contemporary apartment on the Whitstable Coast. Situated on the 1st floor of the old telephone exchange building, and can be access by stairs or lift, it boasts open space and high ceilings and the interior has been modified to maximise space. The apartment has been kitted out and furnished to a very high standard offering a luxurious break with stunning sea views. It has a private gated car park with its own parking space. There are two large bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms. The living space is light and airy and leads to a fully equipped kitchen.
The Telephone Exchange is situated just behind the Whitstable Castle and is ideal for a family of four or two couples. Whitstable has plenty to offer from the beaches, pubs/bars and restaurants, easy access to local towns, cities and villages such as Canterbury, Deal, Broadstairs, Margate and plenty more for fun filled days out. Wow - we stayed for Christmas (1 couple 1 single) and it was home from home ! Every single comfort was provided - starting our mornings at the breakfast table and ending our days lazing on a sofa each watching the huge screen was heaven! Location is perfect; 10mins walk to town; the road is busy however being a beautiful restored property with restrictions on windows - we use a white noise machine and being from London slept 10hours a night - absolutely no disturbances!!!! we have stayed in many luxury properties but this was above and beyond with the little things… the festive decorations were simple and tasteful; the instructions access key on arrival was excellent with a direct email a few days before in case Cottages went to spam… mince pies, Prosecco and turkey foil provided - that was so sweet! All the additional items bin liners; dishwasher tablets; toilet roll; heating was important as it was so cold and we could not have been more toasty - absolutely everything was in abundance (usually you are provided with just a few….) superb quality white goods too! I could call out an edge in the shower that needs doing; a little break on a kitchen cupboard door; and the floor gets dusty due to high ceilings and floor colouring; and hard to open lower ground floor entrance!… absolutely minuscule comments! The lift is a dream luxury btw!!! And the lovely entrance; parking; bins wooden store area - truly a sensational property; location and VALUE FOR MONEY! I wish we owned this property LOVED IT xxxx
