The Coast Hi Country Hotel is the only hotel that I prefer to stay at in Whitehorse. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, the food is good and the rooms are clean. Parking can be a challenge if there are events happening in Whitehorse, but parking is tough to find all over town most of the time.

They have a shuttle form the airport which is good. Upon Check in there was a queue and only one staff however he was quick and they had all of the rooms and keys organised for efficiencies. The rooms were a little outdated but absolutely comfy and roomy and clean! Breakfast service wasn't great however there was one staff serving so I think she was just too busy to be more friendly. The restaurant served good food and by good staff! Location is really good and overall I would stay here again based on the price, cleanliness, location and service. Thanks!

This accommodation provides free shuttle to/from airport with 24 hr notice. The front desk staff are very helpful and room is comfortable with free wi-fi. Its close to the riverfront walkway and to downtown (4 blocks and you're on Main Street). On site restaurant and fitness room. Security for elevators excellent ... need to use room key to access elevator from main floor.

Very friendly staff. Very clean, inviting rooms. The Coast is my hotel of choice when I come to Whitehorse whether it is for work or pleasure. I have found any problems to be dealt with quickly. I look forward to staying there again soon.

I have stayed here several times when volunteering for the Yukon Quest. The deck restaurant Is in the hotel as is the breakfast restaurant. The breakfast restaurant had a fruit plate With shrivelled grapes and un ripe melon. Perhaps if it’s not in season don’t offer it. Previously the deck restaurant offered Arctic char and delicious deserts. Not any more. Why change what works. I tried the rockfish , very fishy taste couldn’t eat it.

I stayed here for 2 nights and my room reeked of cigarette smoke. It was on the 2nd floor, just above the restaurant and what I assume must be the place where people smoke. My room reeked of smoke and I couldn't get rid of it. Opening the 1 window was doable for a short period of time, but it was February so the weather was cold. As a person with asthma, this resulted in a really terrible stay. I did ask if there was another room available but the staff advised that the hotel was full. The hotel itself is older but clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. We also ate at the Deck which had great food. I personally would look for another place to stay if I returned to Whitehorse.

No complaints, friendly, professional staff, very welcoming. Clean environment, gym was actually nice and well equipped, restaurant was good, room was spacious, Jacuzzi and bathroom were very spacious, staff was empathetic when I was displeased with an issue and acting fast upon it. Check out was quick.

Stayed here for a week for business. Virtually every staff member went out of their way to be friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Ate at the restaurant one night and it was a great meal with friendly service. Banquet staff went out of their way to ensure our needs were met. Free airport shuttle (even at 4 am). Absolutely would recommend this property.

It was cold. Not just cold, but C O L D. The hotel had plug ins available for cars in the parking lot. The rooms were dog friendly and large enough to accommodate a family of four. We rented the Jacuzzi suite that provided several hours of entertainment for our children. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean.

We arrived last night and were very happy with the helpfulness of the staff. We had a slight miscommunication between my travel agent and the hotel about my room type and it was resolved promptly. While it is an older property, being a formerly in the hospitality industry,I noticed that they have made upgrades to the property, I liked the helpful staff and warm cozy feeling that the lobby area radiated. The Deck is a nice place to have a casual meal in a relaxed environment.Overall I am satisfied with this property
