We had an amazing time in Whistler, so many incredible activities!

Although i did see families there, I don't know if it's the kind of place I would take my wife and kids to. For the single traveller, or a group of friends it is perfect. Mind you, house keeping only comes in once within a stay that is longer than four days. My in room jacuzzi wasn't working and there was no one to fix it, so it should have been advertised as a bath! Another key point is that checkin/checkout is done from a different hotel, on the other far side of the village. Apart from that, the location was right next to the market place, a short (free) bus ride from the slopes or a 10 min walk through the walk way that is filled with wonderful shops and restaurants. The kitchen served us well, as did the BBQ on the balcony. The underground free parking was a great plus as were the hot tub and pool. Over all, a nice place to stay!

We just got back from spending four nights at Stoney Creek Northstar. Overall it was a good place to stay with two kids. The two bedroom condo had a master with an attached bathroom. The second bedroom had a twin and double which made it perfect for our kids. It was easy to store out skis and do laundry in the unit after skiing. The boys used the bathroom downstairs with the upright shower. We also enjoyed the community hot tub. Unit #71 needs to be updated a bit. The sofa in the living room was very uncomfortable. The kitchen was very basic with only dishes. We also felt that the loading and unloading process out of the garage was difficult due to the parking and stairs. Make sure and coordinate with ResortQuest to store your roof box since you cannot drive down into the garage with it. 6'-8" clearance!

great for a trip with your friends!
