Hoping to stay here for many years to come!

We absolutely loved staying with our family of 4. It was just the right size and the perfect location to our favorite beach for playing and fishing (seagull beach). This was our first ever family vacation and sad to admit me and my husband’s first vacation. It was perfect. Everything you need is close by, which is what we were hoping for. We look forward to coming back annually to make ever lasting memories! Wr left a piece of us in cape cod 💛

Great Mid-Cape Location

Overall the house was great...good layout, with the master bedroom and bath at one end and the other bedrooms and bath at the other end. Location was ideal for us, as we like Seagull Beach and there were plenty of golf courses nearby for my husband, friends, and I to play. Close to supermarkets and a very good fish market, and plenty of good restaurants within easy driving distance. Kitchen was well-stocked and there is plenty of counter space and room to move around...as someone else mentioned, the kitchen sink faucet needs adjustment or replacement, and the electric stove burners do not heat or cool down well. We really didn't use the sparsely-furnished living room, but the family room was comfortable...and the outside deck was great...I will reiterate the need to replace or at least paint the bulkhead, which is an eyesore. Our biggest disappointment, and this has never happened to us before and we have been renting on the Cape for many years, was that there was only "basic" cable on the TV and the TV was not a smart TV...making it very limiting as to what you could watch. I really believe that it is worth upgrading that cable package and adding the additional cost to the rental if necessary to offset that cost. We were there for two weeks, so we missed many of the shows that we watch regularly...and my husband was disappointed not to have access to the golf channel. It's just not the same trying to watch on your device! Lastly, the mattress in the master bedroom was soft and uncomfortable...a bigger than double bed would have been appreciated. I would definitely rent again, if the TV issue and master bedroom mattress issues were addressed. We ended up leaving the day before our rental ended, because there was no way to complete the "departure list of requirements provided" and be out the door by 9:30 AM! Other rentals have given us until at least 10AM or 11AM to vacate the premise..

We have been coming to the Cape for over 30 years. First camping, then renting cottages and then houses. This house was very spacious, furniture was clean and comfortable including the beds. The kitchen had every appliance, new stove and refrigerator and coffee maker. For people who like to cook, there was every tool and utensil you needed. There was an abundance of cutlery, dishes, glasses, bowls etc. You name it, they had it! Air conditioning worked well. Kept house comfortable Front porch and deck were just added to the reasons I rented it. Location MId Cape, made going to other parts of the Cape verhy easy. All n all. I’ll be renting it next year, God willing. Thank you

Fantastic central location! Nice home in need of some TLC

This home had the perfect setup for my family and we had a nice week stay at this property. The home needs some TLC and upgrades which would definitely improve the overall experience. The kitchen was well stocked with everything but did not have a tea pot and the kitchen faucet needs some tightening or adjusting for proper water flow. The family room area and deck are great but the bulkhead is an eyesore and needs attention desperately. The hoses on the deck should be lined up and secured along back of home so no one trips over them. Dressers in the bedrooms are old and difficult to maneuver the drawers, closets have tons of other supplies prohibiting use for storage of suitcases, shoes etc. Provided extra blankets were musty and needed washing or were torn and falling apart. No wastebaskets in bedrooms. Master suite and bath were lovely but the other bathroom is too dark with fancy, yet unnecessary fixtures prohibiting counter space and usage. I had to tighten a shelf on the wall and re-secure the toilet seat. Bath mat provided needed a serious washing. Tub drain needs a good snaking as well or a solid douse of drano. Water pressure however was incredible! Another table and chairs for games or puzzles would have been nice in the more formal living room area which, for us, really was completely unused space. We would have done a puzzle the week we stayed but had no where to do it as we needed the kitchen table for dining. Location of this property is ideal. Central to everything Mid-Cape has to offer. It is a short drive (1.4miles) to the beach and has easy access to Rt 28 to reach restaurants and shops. Overall, it's an average property. Has plenty of amenities and accommodations but with a little TLC and some updates we would definitely go back. Without, we'd look around.

Happy to have spent our first week ever on the Cape here

I was so pleased with this property. It was pretty clean wheh we first got there. Over the week there were definitely spots that clearly hadnt been cleaned recently (under couches, molding, bath mats) but not the worst. The house layout is nice with the master on the left of the house and to the left of the entryway while the other two bedrooms are on the far right. The kitchen is right inside the main door and is spacious enough. It was well stocked with basics for cooking including utensils, spices, cookwear. The stove top is electric and is painfully slow to warm up, but we tried to use the grill and our griddle pan primarily. The fridge is basic with a top freezer. We brought a variety of drinks and I would recommend a separate cooler for drinks because fridge space runs out quickly. The dining area is next to the kitchen that looks into the living room which leads to the back yard. The front room of the house we used as a play room so it was nice to spread out. The bedrooms have closets and dressers to unpack your clothes and store your luggage which was a nice way to spend a week instead of out of a suitcase. The back yard has a nice big deck with a large umbrella table and 4 cozy Adirondack chairs. We used the chairs around the fire pit that is also in the back yard (one of our favorite things this week!) And abutts a few neighbors but the woods give good privacy. The yard was big enough for our badminton net and for the kids to play. There is also a shed we used to keep the bikes in at night and keep the yard cleaned up when we weren't using it. The central air worked well in addition to the window unit in the master. The washer/dryer in the basement is a great bonus for mid week cleaning and less clothes needed to be packed. The neighborhood is so quiet with great roads for quick bike rides. Easy access to the main street and sea gull beach. Overall was a good home as a touchdown space while we were there. Would recommend a few things-a drying rack in the kitchen, an extra fridge or bigger one in place of the one there, a little added details to cleaning to make it feel a little more fresh, replace the bulkhead (it has several rust patches and the kids kept wanting to play around it) consider updating the mattresses, allow for a slightly later check out time. All in all, I would recommend this home for someone who is looking for comfort, affordability and the convenience of being centrally located. Thanks for a great week!

A hidden gem

The price of this rental was a great value given typical Cape prices, the location and general size and condition of the house. We came in with tempered expectations and were extremely happy with the property. We have initial concerns with the location being close to Rt 28 or being closed to some of the more industrial feel of parts of Yarmouth, but we felt like we were so far away from it all as we never heard street traffic or had an concerns about the location at all. This place was close to everything, with the nearest beach being just a few minutes away and greatly exceeded our expectations. The Living Room was a little strange with just the fireplace, a couch and rocking chair with a few lights. It felt like partial funished room that just felt empty being in there. We didn't use that much, but the large living room with the TV in the back was awesome for relaxing with the family. The backyard deck was huge and well furnished. We spent a lot of time out there and it was very peaceful. Water pressure was fantastic in the house for the indoor showers and the outdoor shower. One minor improvement would be to have a clothesline to dry towels after a day at the beach. We did use the railings on the porch, but this would be a nice inexpensive addition. Thank you so much and we will strongly consider this rental in the future!!!

Great house

We had a great stay at this property. The rocking chairs in the front of the house were wonderful as was the back deck. The beds were comfortable and the outdoor shower was perfect. There are a few things about the house that make it clear no one lives there and could use some attention -- the bbq didn't get very hot and we instantly needed to refill the propane tank, and there wasn't a light on the back deck so we couldn't really sit there at night, which is pretty key for a summer/ fall rental. Otherwise no complaints! Very convenient location to the beach and to town and the neighborhood was adorable.

It was very disappointing that upon our arrival, the door was open with a key in it. There was an empty ice coffee cup on the counter. And used towels on top of the of the cloths dryer.The explanation was that the ac didn't work and someone went in to fix it. So in the age of Covid, it was professionally cleaned and then a stranger from us was allowed to go in after and leave empty cup etc around. Nice! Toilet seat was loose and the gas grill did not work properly with a broken burner. We let the real estate company know, but nothing was done about it . In the past we had always had enjoyable stays when renting form an owner directly and we will in the future. This property obviously is nothing but a rental property and not managed very well

House was fine but had to bring linen and towels and pretty much everything! Location is great—very quiet. Lighting could have been better and a few more instructions about tv, DVD player, outside lights, heat etc. owner does not recycle!

Amazing Home!

Perfect home away from home! This home had everything we needed for a relaxing week away with our family. Comfortable, modern and clean! Quiet neighborhood near everything. Very tech friendly with chargers, BOSE speakers, wifi, cable, central air. I wouldn't change a thing...except hoping to stay 2 weeks next year!

Nice and homey!

It was a nice property and would be great for a family. The place was clean and in a nice neighborhood not far from Main St. Having mobility issues, myself, it worked out well for me. Except for the high step from the porch into the kitchen it was otherwise fine. Plenty of room to get around with my walker and a step-in shower, which were the determining factors for me when booking. The only things I didn't care for were the hard mattress on the bed in the master bedroom and the disorganization in the kitchen cupboards and drawers. It was difficult locating dishes and utensils I wanted to use. Everything was put back haphazardly.
