The size is good. Quiet neighborhood. New tiled shower is very nice. Cleaning needs to be improved. The only bathroom is inside the bedroom, and it has a very small sink. The toilet moves, make me worried that the toilet may fall off.

The property’s exterior was charming and well located, but had many flies, webs and spiders under furniture, in windows and in corners, which was a deal-breaker at check-in. Property management did not address the issue and we left after an hour of stressful pest control and phone conversations with customer service that went nowhere. Very upsetting to my family during what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. Because problems were not addressed by the local team in any way other than to promise us a refund we haven’t received yet, we sadly would not trust Vacasa or VRBO with future bookings. It’s too disruptive when things go wrong. In addition, wiring in the home was old and wouldn’t charge modem devices, and windows had gaps around the window a/c units that made the pest problem even worse.

Week in Yarmouth

Overall we really enjoyed our time at the property. The location was fantastic, less than a mile walking from a lovely beach. Short drive to Hyannis. Central to the whole Cape. The house was clean and stocked with a few essentials. Everything was as described. We had a very nice stay here. A few things to note, there no was nowhere to hang clothing so I’d suggest some over the door hooks. Also, the morning sunlight was very bright so if you’re a light sleeper you may want an eye mask.

Horrible experience with vecasa

Long story short we arrived at 4 PM on Fourth of July. We got a text at 4:07 on Fourth of July that we cannot stay at the place I rented once in advance. They said there was a shower leak. If anybody knows Cape Cod Massachusetts well they know the busiest day of the year for Cape Cod is fourth of July. I just drove five hours to get to my destination to be told that I need to leave. I had cruise reservations for that night at 7 PM, let it be known every single thing was booked on Fourth of July. They did not accommodate me. They actually sent me a place called the red roof Inn that I could stay at which actually was booked as well and needless to say that’s not a place I would ever stay at. I picked a home for a reason fenced in yard quite close to the beach. I just had foot . They did not accommodate me. I just had foot surgery a month and a half before my vacation so I wanted something that was easy accessible for myself to have a nice vacation after two hours on the phone with Picasa on july 4th They said I could stay there for the night and they will contact me over the weekend to see if somebody could come in over the weekend the list goes on and on about how horrible the experience was I am waiting to see what Vacasais going to do!!!

Great location in quiet neighborhood. Bed was really noisy and some things need to be fine tuned. We aren’t terribly picky people but the toilet was not securely fastened to the floor, the ceramic tile shower threshold wasn’t fastened and is a trip hazard, and the shower handle wasn’t fastened and fell off after turning water on.

Beautiful cape cottage!

My husband, dog, and I had a great stay in this little cape cottage. We brought our bikes with us and were able to easily bike back and forth to Seagull Beach (5 minute ride). We felt safe letting our pup out with the fenced in yard, and the home was very clean when we arrived. While it may be cozy for 4 people (using the pullout couch) we found it to be the perfect size for just us! All the amenities - including available beach chairs, grill, etc - were very accurately described. The home itself is very centrally located on the cape and was a great access point to other activities, as well as in a quiet, homey neighborhood. We would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing spot!

Everything we wanted and more! Located right up the road from the beach. Very cozy feel inside with a fenced in back yard and a fire place! If your looking for a more personal stay at the cape, this is the spot!!!

Small, lacking amenities, clean

Clean place, quiet neighborhood. No more than 2 people should stay here. The tiny table only has 2 unraveling patio chairs and the fold out couch can’t be slept on. The queen bed is fine, sheets and towels clean. Kitchen is minimally outfitted. Walk to the beach, bike trails nearby.

Lovely spot

Not much to do here in the rain, limited light coming into the cottage. But very good location close to a public beach (parking there was $20 but you can also walk) and very clean. Yarmouth is great. Must check out the Pirate Museum which was much more interesting than you’re likely guessing. Perfect place for a couple or intimate friends. There is also a nice yard and barbecue area. Cottage is exactly how advertised.

Nice stay.

Its a very nicely decorated property and has all you need for a short stay. Yard fencing was not complete, but I hope it is by now. Beach nearby does not allow dogs which was a disappointment. house is in excellent location for touring the area. Only minus point. the walls are not sound insulated. i could hear the conversations of the people in the next door rented house. Apart from that the area was very quite.

Clean and great location

Cute cottage central to many restaurants and beaches. The cottage is not heated, so it was chilly. There was a very small space heater though. There were no hangers in the closet and only 2 forks in the kitchen. All easily remedied. I would book again .

Cute cottage in a quiet neighborhood that was great for my husband and I. Easy walk (little less than a mile) to the beach. Host company was very responsive and communicative. Take note, if you are booking during the off-season there is no heat!

Nice stay, walking distance to Seagull beach. Nice location, lots of things to do and restaurants close by! Fenced yard was great for our older lab. House is nice, could use some minor updates.
