The attendant would not come to the service window. That's right, a hole in a plexiglass window. I had to stand in the rain, bent over .. and speak into that hole!. NO breakfast even though that was part of our search criteria. Juice and reg coffee. That's it. The room was very very dirty.

Room was a great size and great location to Southland Park. The only negatives were (1) there was no coffee maker (and I like my coffee) and (2) there were fast food drinks still left in the refrigerator from the last guest.

It is located in the out skirts of Memphis, in West Memphis Arkansas. Very Friendly staff, Room was clean, free WiFi, complimentary breakfast, gas station and fast food restaurants close. I recommend it if you are planning to stay one night.

cleancheap and friendley that is all you ask for! Great for the money.

The room was clean and appeared to be recently renovated. The furniture was simple. There was a mini refrigerator and microwave. The king size bed was about what I expected. A bit hard, but not too bad over all. The motel is right off the highway for easy access to downtown Memphis. We saved a bunch of money staying here and driving less than 10 minutes into downtown. I never felt unsafe.

The AC unit never cooled the room down below about 74. I perfer having it a little cooler. No other issues.

this place is ok just for an overnight, the best word that I can use to describe this place is sparse, nothing extra, not even the continental breakfast (coffee ,juice and doughnuts) should not have paid as much for the room, but I was going by the red roof reputation, which this did not have, not good, but to be fair not that bad, I just thought it could be better

Make sure to ask for a room away from the super highway if road noise bothers you. Ask that you not be given a room on the second floor farthest from the stairway if you don't want to carry your stuff a long way. The clerk is unable to make room changes on location. By making these requests, you may enjoy your stay if you don't mind 3 dozen dead insects and spiders in the shower light 10" away from your head, and you don't mind being treated like a number.

We were making our annual migration from summer to winter locations and the location plus the acceptance of pets was the deciding factor. We previously had stayed in another nearby hotel and the Red Roof wins hands down. Plus ther is a fantastic Mexicani restaurant right across the street.

mosquitoes in room when we arrived, sheets had a couple of stains on them on one of the beds.

Check-in was smooth. In spite of the Dog Track nearby it was really very quiet. Room was large and extremely clean, spotless even. The general amenities were more in keeping with a two-star rating (ie: soap, shampoo, towels and etc.) Staff was friendly. This is not a deluxe place. Only one (Mexican) place to eat within walking distance. Would recommend for a comfortable night on the road.

Easy on & off Hwy. Decent room, good beds. Breakfast was sugary donuts & fake OJ. Near dog track if you gamble. They allow dogs so be warned. Less than 10 minutes to downtown Memphis.

The room was clean and did meet my expectations. It was a good room for the price. It is located next to the casino which gave us a little something today. Not a bad experience.

Average! Average! Average!

Nice place if you like the dog track.
