Nice location. Reception staff excellent. Nosebleed price for just a hotel! Noisy first night next to the elevators.( I requested quiet room). 2nd night quieter away from same. Did not like the only buffet style restaurant, no a la carte menu. We're world traveled foodies...Buffet presentation excellent, except food quality looked great, but not top notched. Flavors watered down. Desserts were an epic fail. The attention to looking great were ruined by the lack of authentic flavors and complexities. As a returning Guyanese, the emphasis should be on Guyanese desserts that I would have given you high 5's for!!!! We're known for our desserts, food, and diverse flavors. I noticed that the majority of the guests were Guyanese. I understand catering for everyone, but... stay true to the real flavors. I personally do not like fusion meals. Quite frankly, breakfast should have been included at this level. But I will pay anything for exceptional food! The servers were all excellent, especially for breakfast!! Gracious, warm, and attentive. I would be interested to see how this review matters.

The staff were great! Chef Michael was great. They made sure we had a great experience. I felt safe and I liked the pool area.
The front desk people where exceptional the bellman and house keeping awesome also. The only bad things the price of the hotel there is nothing beautiful around the hotel I have never seen prices like that for a area like that my experiences with the restaurant once inside I was treated awe full the young lady put my order on hold to attend to white customers that came in later than myself and once outside the waitress gave me a menu that was filthy, I know that she would not have given that filthy menu to white people I have a photo of the menu if anyone wants to see it. That’s my experience

We paid for 8 adults 4 per room & were given adequate accommodations. However, they were always short of towels with the excuses that they were drying. The last 2 nights we requested towels for the following morning at 7am, no one showed up until now. No courtesy and irresponsible. We should have been told that there were not enough towels in the rooms & that they were going to bring them up ASAP and actually bring the towels. Horrible. The rooms & beds were clean & comfortable.
Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Very good wifi connection. Great, spacious room with good amenities. Comfortable gym; conveniently located. Restaurant/bar is overpriced, be aware. Good quality, but not what you're paying for. Check bill at checkout, I had prepaid booking through Orbitz and was being charged again at checkout - had to show email to prove it.
Highly trained staff. Food and accommodation was exceptional. Would definitely stay there again.
