We stayed at Ramada for 10 nights during CPL, the service is extremely poor, the free buffet breakfast is the same kind of food every morning, nothing special. The room is big, bed is comfortable, AC is great but the bathroom and toilet need some fixing. The housekeeper on the 5th floor is sloppy, can't clean the room probably. This is our 4th year staying at the hotel during CPL and this year the standard is the worst.

This was by far one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From check-in to check-out, the overall attitude of the staff was cold and unwelcoming. Whether at the front desk or in the dining area, it felt like guests were seen as a burden rather than being treated with any level of hospitality. Asking a simple question or seeking assistance was met with visible frustration and dismissiveness. The food was absolutely terrible—not only lacking in quality but a complete waste of money. Given that hospitality and food service are two of the most important aspects of any hotel stay, it’s extremely disheartening that both were so poorly managed. The facility itself was just as concerning. The ice machine was broken, the showers had visible mold, and shockingly, they left a moldy bath mat in the bathroom for use—completely unacceptable. We were only provided two bath towels, with no face towels or additional linens available. The pool area was filthy. The entire edge of the pool was covered in mold, and the tile line that should have marked the depth was so dirty it was barely visible. The only positive interactions I had were with people outside the hotel and airport—ironically, the two places where you expect the most customer service were the worst. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience truly deserves to be acknowledged. It was not just a disappointment—it was unsanitary, unfriendly, and absolutely not worth the cost.

GT vacay

A+ customer service, courteous staff including the security staff and house keeping. Appreciated there were security on-site. Enjoyed the daily breakfast which was a wide variety of traditional Guyanese foods. Thank you dinning room/kitchen staff for accommodating our requests and doing such a great job. We enjoyed the fun park, pool bar and entertainment (live music). We didn't get to enjoy the pool because of time constraints but it appears to be clean. Would be nice if the pool hours were later than 6 p.m. The rooms and hotel itself needs lots of upgrading, TLC to fix the rotting ceiling and other deteriorating structures. We encountered a stained bed sheet the first night which staff quickly replaced without a fuss. But in the first place it should not have been placed on the bed. The blanket had stains as well as the mattress. Mattress needs to be thrown away, period! Towels were torn and stained, the couch had a stain on it that could have easily been cleaned when the spill first occurred. The gym was ok, small, not a lot of equipment. The only working treadmill out of the 3, needs calibrated, it was sluggish and the stats were way off. It would be greatly appreciated if there were designated smoking areas. Folks were just smoking every corner I turned which flared up my asthma and caused me to not stay outside too long in the lounge area enjoying the live music. Please consider designated smoking areas. Overall, yes, I would stay here again.

It was well staff to your every, and all of your hospitality need's, the staff was very friendly courteous and respectful. Security was Forth Knox style, you were protected like Gold, clean and well put-together rooms. the breakfast was over the top, all natural squeeze tropical juices along with a variety of fresh fruits, What not there, just ask and if it can, it will be rendered, I've been coming there for over 5yrs now, and not about to change now. I have been staying at this hotel for many years as a business traveler. This time around I must say I was very disappointed. The food was HORRIBLE, from the breakfast to lunch to dinner. On one occasion I got STALE rice with my order and was very disheartened it only one example. I think it is due to the new staff that this hotel brought on. I am reconsidering staying at a different hotel on my future trips.
