Breakfast options were spectacular. I truly appreciated the local cuisine options e.g. pepper-pot, saltfish and bakes, stewed chicken, stewed fish, were very well prepared, and presented. My compliments and gratitude to the cook for making my breakfast experience one to remember. The other options that can be had from any other international hotel were okay. .Another issue I had was with the check in process. I found it extremely unsettling that my invoice was provide in Chinese, and not in English which I could read and be aware of what I was signing to. I found it extremely unsettling, and the little that they did have in English was incorrect and I had to bring it to the check in person's attention which. She understood very little and it was challenge trying to explain to her that I was not checking in and out on the same day at the same time. The lack of language expertise almost costed us a disaster, the night before I arranged to have a Taxi pick us up early in the morning. The front desk person assured the evening before that it was all arranged. Came down at 6 the following morning just to be told they could not find any such reservation, now I could not tell if the person understood what I explained or if she actually could not find the reservation. She then attempted to call a taxi which she then reported none was available. Luckily I then reached out to a family member to help us. We had a lot more issues we had but we are out of space.
