Dated hotel, our room faced the railroad tracks which were loud. Air conditioner worked but had loud opinions about life. Comfy bed and clean towels though, great water pressure in the shower!

Run down BUT this is still a good value for the price. This was obviously once a very nice hotel, solidly built. Yes, it's run down but there are some positives as well. It's back away from the street so you don't hear any traffic noise. If you want to stay at the expensive Springhill, go for it. Pay double and listen to traffic. One big negative, they started groundkeeping with the hideous air and noise polluting leaf blower machines at 9 AM. I was NOT happy about that and it is not rational to do so. Anyway, I would stay here again because of the price, nice pool and no traffic noise.

Run down, but still viable.

We picked this hotel primarily because of the outdoor pool and spa. These were both functional which was satisfactory. It would have been nice if there was more than 1 lounge chair at the pool. The fencing and wood railing is broken or severly rotted wood and this is quite tacky. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was surprisingly soft. The pillows large and fluffy, and the sheets were of good quality. The television worked as it should. It would have been nice to have a cushoned arm chair in the room to relax in. The breakfast was simple, but the eggs, bacon, and sausages were real. I knew that this property was in dire need of renovation, however our stay was better than expected.
