Like our other ship, "Liberté" (which can be found: 6935389) we have added a new ship for rent. Sailing Ship 'Phoenix' from 1890 is located at a shipyard on a river, near Amsterdam. It is possible to go sailing with the 'Phoenix' (not included in the listed price). There is a direct train connection to Amsterdam Central Station (15 minutes) and Schiphol Airport (20 minutes). Free parking available.
Its unique location combines the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam city life with the peace and tranquility of the river. The comfortable ship, with all modern conveniences, is the perfect accommodation for groups of up to 18 people.
The ship has seven separate rooms which all have sinks with hot and cold water. There are two bathrooms, a spacious living room and a fully equipped kitchen. The deck is also completely yours, so you can barbecue at summer evenings while enjoying the sunset.

Wir hatten ein tolles Wochenende auf dem Schiff! Es war insgesamt einigermaßen sauber und wir hatten eine wirklich schöne Zeit – es gab genug zu trinken und die Stimmung war super. Das Personal war in Ordnung, freundlich und hat seinen Job gemacht.Das Gelände rundherum wirkt auf den ersten Blick etwas unordentlich, aber das ist nicht weiter schlimm, wenn man weiß, worauf man sich einlässt. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war etwas schwierig, hat letztlich aber gut funktioniert, und alles hat wie geplant geklappt. Wichtig zu wissen: Die Crew muss mitversorgt werden – das sollte man bei der Planung einrechnen.Insgesamt ein geiles Erlebnis, das wir gerne weiterempfehlen!
Schönes Schiff, freundliche Vermieter und Crew. Wenn man nur das Boot mietet und vor Ort bleibt hat man mit Weesp, einen schönen, gemütlichen Ort, das Zentrum ist nur ein paar Fußminuten entfernt. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis wird es, wenn man gegen Aufpreis einen Ausflug mit dem Boot bucht, ein- oder mehrtägig. Wir haben von Ray den Tipp bekommen nach Volendam zu segeln und haben das angenommen, inkl. Übernachtung dort. Man muss sich natürlich im Klaren sein, dass man beim Segeln auch selber mit anpacken muss, z.B. um die Segel zu setzen oder die Seitenschwerter zu bewegen und das kann ganz schön anstrengend sein, aber ist mit unheimlich viel Spaß verbunden, wenn man so zu einem Teil der Crew wird. Die Crew schläft auch mit auf dem Boot und nimmt auch an der Verpflegung teil. Uns begleitete Matthieu und Jan, beides sehr nette Typen und sie haben uns gut zu unterhalten und vieles erklärt.Die Küche (Kombüse) an Bord ist vollständig eingerichtet inkl. Besteck, Geschirr, Herd, Ofen, zwei Kühlschränken usw.Natürlich ist so ein Boot kein Hotel und man muss sich auch darauf einstellen, dass vieles recht klein ist. So z.B. sind einige der Betten dann doch etwas grenzwertig, Auch sind die Bäder etwas klein, aber alles war sauber und hat funktioniert.Die Kommunikation war nach der Buchung anfangs etwas spärlich. Es konnte aber dann doch alles geklärt und geregelt werden und vor Ort wurden wir sehr freundlich und herzlich begrüßt.Ein ganz tolles Erlebnis, volle Empfehlung!
Had a wonderful time sailing with some experienced sailors! We were able to do as much or as little as we wanted, great time with family and friends and an amazing food spread! Loved every single minute!
