We have just stayed two nights here, nothing fancy but close to town and food places. Room itself was spacious but the bathroom tiny, no good for an overweight person. Our tv wasn't working properly, we reported it and the lady came straight away, couldn't fix so replaced it. Staff very friendly. We slept in the first morning, housekeeper knocked on the door at 10am and gave us some towels, I guess they have a limited time for housekeeping, that was ok for us but some people may prefer a later service of the room. Used the pool once, it was chained shut, had to ask someone to unlock for us. Overall pretty run down but adequate, beds comfy, pretty quiet but you can hear people talking outside, we were lucky there weren't partygoers there.
Arrived late on a Sunday night, was not told it was a handicap room, also file cabinets in room, tv did not work, room smelled. When I complained in the morning I was told after checking in, unloading and registering, I should have complained, but it was the only room available. I have been to many hotels and proprietor will inform you the only room available is handicap. Also their website it was 0.8 miles from interstate, that was not true.
I was amazed. From the outside I was worried. What nice rooms. They were able to put me on a bottom floor. They actually asked us if we wanted to see the room before we paid. He said someone had smoked in the non-smoking room and they had worked to get the smell out. They did a good job. Room did not smell at all. Room was as nice as some high dollar hotel rooms. Staff was very friendly.
Staying here on a company stay. Wall sockets don't work (half of them), the shower was broken and was told to just take a sit down bath😩. Room smelled like cigarettes. Moved us to another room and the shower works but the wall outlets are the same situation. Front desk staff (I'm sure they're family) aren't very pleasant to work with. Amenities are few. Very few.
I booked a room for one day in this motel by mistake. However, once I arrived I was quite pleased with the accommodations. The staff was very friendly. My first impression was the very professional paint job on the exterior of the building. The owner has an eye for color. The interior décor is pleasant to the eye. The interior style is somewhere between Spanish and the style that I would expect to find in Santa Fe, NM. There are two arches. One of the arches is in the wall that separates the bed area from the sitting area that has a really nice sleeper sofa. The furniture has a black lacquer finish, which is a perfect contrast for the interior colors. The AC is very quiet. The room had a mini fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. The flat-screen TV is at least 48". The TV has accessible HDMI ports. The remote allows you to switch inputs. If you like headphones, the TV has a headphone port that actually works. The accessible TV channels provide high quality high resolution pictures that are far better than most low-end/high end motels. Since I don't like dealing with third party booking websites, I called the establishment directly. They agreed to match the price that the third party services were advertising. The contact information is: Weatherford Inn and Suites 809 Palo Pinto St, Weatherford TX-76086 817-599-8683-Off 817-599-8686-Fax I had planned to stay only one night, and then switch to another motel. However, I decided to stay four nights. This is one of those perhaps hidden jewels that Google searches may not show up in the first page or two. I will definitely stay here again.
Driving through Texas, wanted somewhere inexpensive to stay for the night. Most motels in this price range are gross. This place is older but well kept and clean. Basic ammenities available. Would stay here again. Plus downtown Weatherford is a nice place.
This place is great and just what we needed after a very long day of car trouble. The price is great and location was close to the place we took the car to get fixed. Checking in was easy and smooth, the staff wonderfully friendly. The Room was clean the bed was almost like my bed at home. It was nice a quite in the room so we were able to sleep in. I would stay here again.
We were merely looking for a place to "flop" for the night and purchased an evening here sight unseen. When checking in we may have felt a tad hesitant due to the office operating through a window but once we saw the room, we were AMAZED! It was clean, clean, clean, and quite obviously well taken care of! Comfy beds, clean and fresh smelling linens, updated sink and counter tops, mini fridge and microwave! The shower was spotless! We heard no noise! Not your kind of ""going on vacation" type digs but if you just need a place to stay in Weatherford, this is a great pick! And VERY affordable!
Pulled up and started having second thoughts. The office area is spotless and the staff is friendly. Room wand clean with comfortable with good pillows. Nice tv with direct tv with all the channels. AC was super cold. The room did not have the smell of an older motel which was a shock. The pool was really nice clean. Just as nice as the other motels I. Town, Other family members stayed at laquinta and had warm rooms an no parking. Great place stay!
After trying to pull our reservation as a result of the poor representation of the community. Which they denied. I have only one good thing to say about this room my wife and I stayed in. That is that the air conditioner will freeze the room. After that, it was a miserable stay. First impressions are that the decor is from the mid eighties at best and the towels and tub had someone else's hair in them. YUCK!!! After we came back from dinner we spent at least fifteen minutes trying to figure the TV/Sat out. I had to run auto tune each time we turned the TV on. The worst of the entire stay?!!!!!!!! The bed is the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE I've ever stayed in. As a former oil/gas industry employee, I've stayed at many hotels. This one was by far top ten worst of all time list. The service was horrible, the guy was rude to my wife, very dismissive of the entire deal and to top it off! Their breakfast is a JOKE! Stale day old donuts and cereal, watered down milk and OJ. Yes, I would spend $250.00 for 12 hours before I stayed here again.
