This was a perfect getaway for the weekend. I was looking for a house not too far from where I live, to spend a long weekend away and have some friends for dinner. The property pictures are accurate. The hosts were easy to communicate with, and gave detailed directions on how to get there, where to park, and how to get into the house. The area is gorgeous. We had a lot of fun looking for wildlife in the mornings and evenings. While it feels rural, it is super close to downtown Waynesville which had plenty of take-out options when we didn't feel like cooking. It is close to Caesar's Creek, a great local park. There was plenty of space for us. The room set-up would be ideal for families. If you just have adults, it would sleep 8 comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked. It was so nice to have two full bathrooms. The property was clean, with plenty of extra towels. We didn't need the washer and dyer, but it is always great to have access just in case. We loved sitting on the porch. My biggest complaints are small when it comes to booking a house for a weekend. I would have loved nightstands or a dresser in the main bedroom, and the overhead light in the main bedroom didn't work but the fan did. I would definitely book here again.
