It was nice to have a refrigerator and a microwave. Room was OK but AC was rather noisy. The bathroom needed some touch up work on the walls where a previous towel rack was, and the bath tub plug was rusty. My wife and I stayed 3 nights and there was no maid service or towel exchange. Would have been nice if the desk clerk informed us of this. The "breakfast" was very disappointing. Mini waffle iron, white bread for toast, and finger size little cinnamon rolls and coffee.
I normally read reviews before I stay at a place and this time I didn't, so I missed the reviews about the roaches that were running on the carpet and bathroom. I even felt allergies, perhaps from the roach droppings or carpet dander. Although the rooms furnishings are new and modern, the roach infestation and noise from the freeway didn't let us rest or enjoy the place. They also only had waffles and juice available for continental breakfast. They needed much more. When we arrived, our son wanted to use a restroom and we were told that they didn't have any public restrooms even as guests that had already paid. This is the first hotel that claimed not to have a restroom in the front office area for guests. I would NOT stay there again.
I thought the pictures online indicated a nice, new facility. Unfortunately, what we got was a sleazy, cheap motel where we didn't feel comfortable and had a difficult time sleeping and feeling safe.

Staff was friendly, room was clean. It was very cold outside and when we got to our room about 10:00pm, it felt as cold in the room as it was outside. The heater worked, but it took a long time to warm the room up. Also the fan in the bathroom was very loud. It could wake people up in the middle of the night if someone has to turn it on, it's the same switch as the light. Overall it was pretty good though.
The hotel was run down, the reservations were incorrect, the clerk was uncooperative, unfriendly, reasonably polite, and didn’t solve the problems until orbitz was called.
Arrived later in the evening after a long day driving. 1st room had no water and was very dingy- had to repack everything and move to room two. The entry door for 2nd room wouldnt stay latched/secured and had flying bugs - had to repack everything and move to room three. 3rd room was in MUCH better condition but when we went to take a shower in the morning - no shampoo or soap!
Nice clean room. Would recommend to stay here for anybody. I would prefer A little better continental breakfast with bagels and bacon. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.
Good value. Heard from others place had been going downhill. Under new ownership who has replaced carpets, furniture and paint. The place is a work in progress with a friendly staff. Our room wasn't the cleanest and we brought it to the managements attention. I would stay here next year when we are back in town.
I like the hotel but pool was out of order, and could use a little renovating with new furniture and a tv... Also there was no vending machine that i seen, but very clean and very nice staff. Would stay again.
Not a good experience at all. I had to cancel my second night at the hotel and change to another hotel in Ennis. The beds felt like they were broken. The bathroom was not clean. Overall not a good experience at all.
They worst stay I have ever had! The room was dirty! Had a bad odor! The floor had stains, the furniture has scratches all over it! The air conditioner had a bad odor coming from it. Ask for new sheets, staff couldn't understand English! Would have preferred a refund. Will be contacting the Better Business Beraue
The beds were comfortable. The room was marginally clean, but the bathroom was not cleaned well. Breakfast was bad. Television reception was pitiful and the remote control was taped together and would only move in one direction. Overall an experience I would not repeat.
