Treat yourself to ocean and sound views with easy beach access, fishing, surfing, and kiteboarding just steps away! This 3,700-square-foot beach home was designed with comfort, family, and relaxation in mind. This home has a resort feel with high-quality furniture and finishes. The four suites and bunk room each have their own TV. And the tower has a sleeper sofa and views of the ocean and sound. The great room features dramatic 20-foot cathedral ceilings and the home's large rooms open out to 1,800-square-foot decks and porches, giving you a feeling of spaciousness throughout. The family room/game room is a great place to hang out with the kids, and you'll have a single-car garage, a large heated pool, a deluxe five-person hot tub, and a secluded tower room. The kitchen makes for a great place to start the day without feeling like you are missing out on all the fun while cooking! You'll have everything you need to make meals for the gang. The elevator makes this an ideal retreat for families with older members and small children.

Perfect house for a large group! The pool table, pool, hot tub, & short walk to the beach were all perfect! Also we had an issue with our smoke detectors going off and the property manager had someone over in less than 20 minutes! We hope to stay here again one year!

Ready for a return

Staying here was wonderful. Plenty of space for the family and the elevator was great to have for my elderly mother. Having the garage for her was also a large plus. Quiet nights were wonderful to sit around and enjoy movies together. Only issue was on the last day there was an issue with the internet, and we had no tv except in one room. Great kitchen, very clean. I do have to apologize to the young lady that tried to help us when we were at the wrong address. I am truly sorry for being hard to get along with. You were doing your very best. Great Stay.

Do better with house keeping!!

A week before our trip I had checked to see if any new reviews had been posted about the house. Well lo and behold a review was posted on 7/28. After reading all the problems the guest had, I immediately emailed Vacasa to make sure all issues were addressed. Vacasa emailed back pretty quick and assured me everything was taken care of. Upon arrival I must say everything looked as pictured. House was very big, pool area was private and nice, minus all the cockroaches running around the pool area. The grill needs a lot of help, that thing has not been cleaned once! I mean it was disgusting. Even the grill brush was disgusting, you couldn’t even use it. You think they could fork up $5 for a new brush. As we entered the house I could see the floors had not been vacuumed or mopped, ok no big deal I can live with that. The second floor was nice, it had a fridge,pool table, washer and dryer. Upon checking the rooms, I found that the comforters not only had orange paint stains on them, but one had at least 7 BLOOD stains. I immediately took pictures and send them to Vacasa, they apologize and said they would have a new blanket sent, well the new blanket didn’t come until the next day. There is a visible mold problem in some vents. The deck has a lot of nails sticking up. Vacasa needs to do better with cleaning there is NO excuse! I’m sure Vacasa will write under this review saying all issues addresses but that crap. I also requested a partial refund and yet to hear back from them.

We encountered ants, clogged drains and sink, not enough towels and soiled linens left behind from the last patrons in the crows nest. Contacted Vacasa several times and they sent multiple text saying they we experiencing high demand and would get back to us. Never resolved.

Perfect Getaway

As small business owners this was our first chance to take a vacation in 20 years. We decided on this property as it offered an elevator and hot tub. Perfect for us as Jeff is scheduled for spine surgery and climbing stairs is difficult while the hot water jets soothed the pain. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed for a much needed and relaxing getaway. Highly recommended, and we hope to come again.

Fabulous Family Vacation

The house and location was great. Short walk to the beach and short drive to the sound. Several good restaurants close by with Avon just a 20 to 25 minute drive with more shopping and restaurants. Loved there were 4 king beds for the couples and separate bunk room for kids.

Large home, dog friendly

Nice, large house in a quiet neighborhood. Most outdoor areas of the home are private. The pool was great to cool off in during the heat of the day. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach but we rented a golf cart which made coming and going more fun and easy. It’s a dog friendly house so expect to see dog hair around even after it has been cleaned. Only issue was that we requested an early check in and we’re given permission but then upon arrival we were made to wait outside for an hour.

Beautiful home, quiet neighborhood

Our family of 6 had a very comfortable stay here. We had all we needed to prep meals, enjoy the pool table and use the refreshing pool and hot tub every day. All the rooms and furniture were clean. There were multiple decks to enjoy the sunrise, sunset and just reading time above the pool. It was a 10 minute walk to the beach, and then a walk over the dune, which was fun except in the heat of the day when the sand is very hot! There were some wonderful places to eat nearby, as well as in Avon, just 15 mins away. It was amazing seeing all the natural sand dunes along the drive here as well as to Avon. First time this far south and enjoyed it!

We came during a bad storm. So bad they closed the hwy 12 road off the island. So we spent a lot of time inside the house. we enjoyed the hot tub the big porches, the grill and the pool table. However the hot tub jets did not work. Only one side had jets that worked. The house was not thoroughly cleaned. And could use a deep cleaning before any new stays. The beds were comfy and the house was set up perfectly for our group. We enjoyed playing music in the pool room that would also play out on the porch as well. The beach is a short walk down the road. Very convenient and nice house to stay in.

Nice house for a large family

We enjoyed our stay. The house was mostly clean and neat. There were sand spurs throughout the whole house. I grew up on the beach in Florida. We never had this problem. Dog hair was on the floor and in the carpet. Tvs downstairs in the bedrooms didnt work. When I called the manager they were very professional and wanted to make it right. They did what they could. We probably wouldnt stay here again because of the pet hair and allergies and all of the sand spurs. There were A LOT of sand spurs. The location was good in relation to the beach and grocery stores. I suggest bringing a pan to cook your eggs in. Along with all paper products. They provide 1 towel and 1 washcloth person. The beds were comfortable.

Overall good experience

Stayed here for a 3 day weekend and enjoyed our time. Plenty of room for our group of 6 adults. Pool table and hot tub were nice and enjoyed by us. Elevator was a wonderful thing for my wheelchair bound daughter in law. Cons were no garbage disposal, pans for cooking were pretty worn and difficult to cook in especially eggs, shower in main bedroom was not draining properly. The pool was not available to use. It was our understanding that it couldn’t be heated but it didn’t say it wouldn’t be clean for us to swim in. TV had 4 remotes so we had to figure out what worked what and probably would have been useful to have it labeled. The battery for The CO sensor beeped that it was dying but it sounds like the smoke alarm. Thankfully they sent someone out to fix that problem on a Saturday around 7pm. We are grateful for that.

Nice property - a couple cons

Just spent the week here with family and we had a wonderful time! Short walk to the beach, perfect temp to the pool for the hot afternoons (no need to have it heated), and a well set-up kitchen for cooking and being together throughout the day. We loved eating dinner on the picnic table just off the kitchen, spent time on all of the different decks, and really liked being away from the more commercialized areas further north. The ocean water was the perfect temp too! We enjoyed playing pool almost every day and also found a puzzle amongst the large assortment to pass the time on a stormy day. It was also really nice to have a secondary fridge, multiple coffee pots and two ice makers. A few cons/variants to expectations…Although it seems as though there are multiple “master” bedrooms, there is truly only 1. All other bedrooms do have adjoining bathrooms, but none of them are “master” bedrooms. This was a big difference from what we expected. Although, it was nice that all three couples had their own bedroom and bathroom, and to have the bedrooms spread out throughout the house for further privacy. It was disappointing to find out that there were no extra trash bags provided, the only ones were the two in the trash cans when we arrived. Be sure to bring extra toilet paper and paper towels too, only one roll per bathroom and kitchen provided. Would also recommend bringing sheet straps to keep the fitted sheet on the mattress, none of the fitted sheets actually stayed on throughout the night. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this house. It helped us to know more of what to look for and what we want/don’t want in future stays at the beach. The maintenance company was very responsive and kind when we did call for a couple of issues. All of which were fixed and responded to in a timely manner. I would work with Vacasa again.

Best vacation ever

THE best home we have ever rented for vacation. Kitchen has everything you need. Beds and linens were very comfortable. We played pool, used the hot tub, fish cleaning station. It has it all. Will book again for sure.

Great house!

My business partners and I stayed in this house for our yearly off-site meeting. The house was wonderful, perfect for what we needed. The only problem was the internet. We could not connect to wi-fi using any of our devices, we all got 'incorrect password'. I reached out to the maintenance office and was told to contact the internet provider. Dead end there. So our entire 3 days of meetings we had to use the hotspots on our phones for any internet usage. We had a couple Zoom meetings planned each day for a business partner that couldn't make the trip, that had to just be a phone call. Great house with plenty of space and amenities, just very disappointed with wi-fi and maintenance's approach to fixing the problem.

Beautiful home

This house is as pretty as the pictures and very spacious. It's not a long walk to the beach and the pool is awesome. We had a toddler with us and were able to have fun in the game room while he napped upstairs. It was also very nice that we all had our own bathrooms to use.
