I have had nothing but great experiences at this Laporte Rd location in Waterloo. The rooms are always clean and the staff are friendly! I always get a good rest ensuring I have a great day the next! It is my go -to hotel at my away from home... home.

Overall the stay was just fine but breakfast was less than impressive. Cold egg patties versus maybe a scramble or something a bit more appetizing visually and texturally. The sausages were over cooked and the biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were like hockey pucks. Also, my yogurt was 10 days past it's use by date.

The hotel was almost empty, I was tired got a good night sleep and had breakfast, the breakfast was better than most hotels offer but not the best I have had.

We stayed here because they allowed pets. During our stay we had one night when there was a basketball team staying as well. The hotel staff allowed them to play tag in the hotel halls. They were yelling and running through the halls and stairwells. It was extremely loud and our children couldn't sleep.

The rooms were ok, but the breakfast (as with all previous weekly stays) was horrible. the eggs are rubber, the sausages are cold, the biscuits are hard and the gravy usually not hot. The cereal is even stale.

I stay here on a regular basis. Super friendly check in staff. Hotel is quiet and located by everything. Nice exercise room

While the lobby area is inviting, and the staff were very friendly, the rooms were disappointing and are in need of complete renovation. Carpets are dingy. Carpets and bedspreads clash and aren't even in the same color scheme, and the bathroom really needs to be updated.

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the location is good. My room (queen suite) was $177 (w/taxes) & it was a $79 room/hotel at best. Decor was old, outdated, & dingy. Rooms felt dirty. Do not stay here!

We booked it because it said it was 3 stars, although it had 45% recommendation. But we should have gone with the 2 1/2 star hotel in cedar falls like we usually do because it’s much more comfortable. At 10:30 at night people were stomping upstairs. And the room was super basic and the beds not comfortable. Won’t book this way again.

We were in town for a college football game in Waverly. The service was friendly and helpful, room was very clean and beds were comfortable.
