Drive to Lost Island and have fun!

This review is for the rollercoaster nerds out there that want to stay at this hotel because it is the closest to Lost Island theme park. After checking into your hotel room, I do not recommend walking to the theme park because for half of the 20 minute walk, you'll be walking in the street or the grass alongside the street, so just make it easier on yourself and take your car. It's a 3 minute car ride to get there. The hotel has one of the best pools I've ever been in at a hotel and the food at Brew Brothers was pretty friggin good. I recommend the pork tenderloin sandwich. The room was super clean, bed was comfortable and not noisy at all. My only gripe about the hotel is the smell of cigarettes you get as soon as you walk in the lobby. That smell was not in our actual hotel room so I was happy about that. I did not gamble at the casino but there were lots of people there on a Saturday night.

We stayed for 2 night. I have stayed at hotels for 2+ nights and housekeeping would clean and restock everything every day we stayed, but not here. I had to take our our garbage out so we could have empty garbage cans. Also had to call for more towels, kleenex, and toilet paper. There were more rude staff members than there were nice.

It was good for the price, but the 'resort fee' is pointless. Not truly a resort. 24 hour desk is not true. Gone from 2-6am daily and no coffee maker in room, coffee shop closed, no one at front desk, means no coffee if leaving before 6am.

Disappointed !

Friday night we had a fire drill. We had to evacuate at 10:55. There was no explanation, and we waited outside in our Pajamas. Two fire fighters with no lights on walk in and walk out. When we went to our room the smell was in the hallway. To evaquate we used the stairwell. The stairwell from eighth floor was filthy, some kind of poop (human or dog) and blood drippings on some of the wall. Our room was not fresh, bathroom had no air vent, and shower needs a good scrubbing. The people were nice.

Over all the hotel was fine and affordable, we were there with a group of friends and turned away from the restaurant because they could not or would not accommodate any group of people. Overall it was fine our fist room was dirty but we were quickly given a new room
