Had a fantastic stay at The Cavalier. Spotlessly clean, had a very cozy, warm feel. Beds and linens were comfortable. Location was great, as all the fun Alexandria hotpot’s were within walking distance.

Overall this was a very comfortable place to stay. No matter where we went (Alexandria, Arlington, or DC), we were never more than 10-15min away. The location was great.

Great place to stay in Old Town! Location is blocks away from anything you want to do, shopping, restaurants, live music and the riverfront. House is very well maintained and clean, all the amenities you would need including a nice outdoor patio. Hosts are very nice and responsiveness for everything, I would highly recommend to any families or couples looking for a nice stay in the area

Girls trip to Alexandria

My girlfriends and I stayed for two nights and enjoyed our stay. Location was great and check in was a breeze. The owners were easy to communicate and returned messages quickly. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

My first time booking through VRBO and what a great experience! Hosts were easy to work and communicate with. Very thorough on ensuring a smooth check in and check out.Now for the property itself: 10 Stars! It was everything I hoped it would be. The other couple we traveled with were so impressed as well. The location was perfect! This property enhanced our stay and enabled us to feel what it would be like to live in this historic and charming community!

Cozy, well-appointed property in a perfect location. Amazing water pressure and comfortable beds with a great backyard retreat! We loved it and it was perfect for all 5 of us.

Fantastic rental in Old Town

We had a fantastic Moms Weekend in Old Town with this rental as our base of operations. The house was perfect for our group: cozy, updated, with great style and all the amenities we needed. Hosts were very responsive and helpful! Would absolutely stay here again.

Living like a local in Alexandria

We had a lovely 5-day visit, and the location was perfect. Quick responses from the owners, wonderful areas to relax in the house, comfortable beds and bedding, modern kitchen and bathroom—it couldn’t have been better! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again when we’re back in the area.

Beautiful stay

Comfy + chic in a great location

Stayed here for a yearly trip with my mom and sister. The location can’t be beat - it’s a 10-minute walk from tons of fun things to see and do. The place was really comfy, chic and had character. The outdoor space was lovely at night. I’d definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking to stay in Old City.
