Great staff, great people, old school vibe and a great restaurant.
Great location and great price. Enjoyed both restaurants on either Side of the property. Will definitely stay here again.
Great location in downtown for a great price. The hotel is over a hundred years old and need a little upkeep in the hotel
Perfect location. Convenient to all. Close to Metro, museums, restaurants, NBA and everything else. The only bargain priced quality hotel in the area. Really, the only choice for average people. Yes, you could stay nearby in greater luxury for $300+ a night at other brand name choices but why throw away your money? Hotel Harrington is pure history and classic American heritage. The hotel is part of DC history. The staff is great and very helpful. I'll be back.
Location was ideal, room was relatively shoddy for the price, no workout area or coffee/tea/water in the rooms.
The room was amazing and clean. However, the heater did not work at all and I went in February, when the heater is very much needed.
Rooms are small, smell, outdated, bathroom shower goes from freezing cold to extremely hot, parking is almost 2 blocks away, price of parking is more expensive than some others near by and we found pills on the floor. The only good thing about this place of location.
Excellent location and can walk to everything. Staff helpful. Old hotel and pricey but would stay again if I could get a better rate.
Like everyone says- perfect location! Only a few blocks from White House in one direction and Ford Theater in the other. We went to Harry’s every night. Only toiletries offered in room was soap so bring your own shampoo, lotion, etc. Have to get extra pillows and towels from front desk- not housekeeping. We took theDC Trails hop-on hop-off bus tour and this hotel was one of the stops which was great! Never had to wait for elevator and gift shop had reasonably priced sodas & water.
History, eat right there. Recommend that one gets room on back side so you do not get noise from bar below.
Great location and price for downtown! If you are not expecting 5 star amenities and only looking for a place to sleep, it was awesome. We did not have time to hang out in the hotel so we weren't looking for swanky. Go in with an open mind, it is 105 years old and definitely has character!
You can think of this hotel as either "historic" or "old and dated". We opted for historic. It was the perfect location for everything we wanted to do for the two days we were in DC. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. This hotel was everything we needed it to be.
Everything was good enough for 1 night staying in this hotel. Very comfortable closed with historical center.
CharacteCharacter an old style It brought back the old days
