This property has everything you need/want in a homestyle rental. The kitchen is really well stocked and BEAUTIFULLY designed. My husband and I enjoyed playing pinball in the upright arcade game in the “kids room”. We challenge anyone to beat his high score. This home has so many windows too, bringing the outside in. The outdoors offers a great fire pit with lots of wood chopped and ready to go. A very clean and hot, hot tub, and while we didn’t use much of the patio furniture, you could tell they had all you could need stacked neatly under covers. The home is a close proximity for walking to town but yet still a peaceful quieter location with plenty of privacy…well we were visited by deer while we were there. My only regret…not booking for longer. The hosts were really amazing to communicate with. I would highly recommend.

The host was always in communication and got back to me quickly. The cabin was beautiful. The kitchen was so well stocked and had all of the strainers, shredders, dishes that you could need. The hot tub was clean and there was kindling to have a beautiful fire. The cute Christmas decorations made it festive. I Would definitely go back and recommend this as a place to stay.

The cabin was bright and clean and with all the essentials plus more. The instructional booklet with instructions for everything from the hot tub, the garbage and recycling to WiFi and TV.The appliances were new and the kitchen well stocked with various serving platters,bowls , wine glasses and barbecue tools.The backyard was perfect for outdoor games and a good size fire pit area which we unfortunately never used because of strong winds I would recommend this cabin to anyone with a group of 6,7 or 10 people. We just returned from an unforgettable stay at this beautiful 4-bedroom cabin, and we’re already planning our next trip back. From the moment we arrived, everything about the property exceeded our expectations.The cabin itself is spacious, warm, and inviting. Each of the four bedrooms was incredibly comfortable, with cozy beds and quality linens. The living space is truly something special — large enough to accommodate our group comfortably, with plenty of seating, a large dining table, and big windows that brought in lots of natural light and beautiful views.The kitchen was one of the highlights for us. It was gorgeous and very well stocked — probably the best we’ve ever seen in a vacation rental. From quality cookware and utensils to complimentary pantry items, it made cooking meals together a breeze.The outdoor space is where this cabin really shines. The deck is simply amazing — huge, private, and surrounded by nature. Whether we were sipping coffee in the morning or enjoying drinks in the evening, it was our favorite place to relax. The hot tub was clean and worked perfectly, and the fire pit area was the perfect spot for cozy evening gatheringsOverall, this cabin had everything we needed and more. This is a beautiful and spacious property that easily accommodated our family (grandparents and kids) of 9. The kitchen has absolutely everything you might need: sharp knives, plenty of dishes and cutlery, serving dishes and even a salad spinner! All of the appliances' handbooks could be found in a drawer, which is helpful when you are not familiar with a specific brand of appliance. The living area had the happy surprise of a number of board games; a bonus on a rainy couple of days. The outdoor area was gorgeous, with a firepit on a little patio and plenty of firewood, not to mention a hot tub. Everything about this property was as perfect as you could possibly want. The fact that it is on a cul-de-sac means that you have quite a bit of privacy even if there are properties around you. Even the small detail of providing the 4 digit code yourself for access makes it easier and feels safer. Luke and Riley were excellent hosts, contacting us well before our date of arrival by text and sending us a copy of the well-designed handbook which included everything we needed to know about our stay. They kept in contact throughout our stay, responding almost instantly when we texted them, which was reassuring. We would suggest that people coming just follow the signs to the Elkhorn Resort and then rely on the instructions and map Luke and Riley have provided. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and these hosts. A perfect stay all around!

Bachelorette Weekend

We had 8 girls staying for my Bachelorette weekend. The property was clean, spacious and private. The amenities like the hot tub and fire pit wete big hits. My only comment is I wish it were closer to Clear Lake, but a short car ride or 25 minute walk is definitely worth the privacy on the other hand. Would 100% recommend to all parties looking for a nice place to relax in Elkhorn.

Great Clear Lake getaway

The property was perfect for our big family trip. The kitchen was well-stocked to cook for big groups, there was plenty of space, and the proximity to town was close enough to walk but far away enough to feel private too.

Joint/extended family getaway

Perfect rental for a couple of families - lots to do, hot tub is a hit, lots of room, lovely kitchen for group cooking and eating, 2 good size bathrooms and laundry for ease and lots of room to spread out and for your things.
