Ideal location, in the tourist street of Warsaw, about 1 Km from the old city, but close to public transport. In the night club area behind. Good thing the windows are double glazed otherwise sleep could have been a problem. Comfortable and roomy. The only down side was that there was no drier in the two apartments we used.
I've stayed here half a dozen times in the past few years and like it a lot. Well appointed apartments at a good price. Excellent wifi and a great location. Only criticism would be the lengthy check in
I selected this apartment because of its location and the fact that it advertised parking. The pictures online also made the apartment look pleasant and modern -- but it was NOTHING like the photos advertised or the experience I anticipated. I was unhappy about many aspects of our visit: 1. Poor parking: Thank goodness my Polish-speaking cousin was with us when we arrived, because there was NO WAY we would have figured out where to park without him. We had to enter the parking area from a different street and navigate past several other buildings. It was very confusing and would have been extremely frustrating under other circumstances. The apartment staff was not very helpful in this regard; they provided no information about parking until my cousin called to ask. 2. No elevator: We had to carry our luggage up three flights of stairs. Not an easy feat with young children. 3. Small rooms, bland decor: I wanted to like this apartment more. The windows from the living room open out onto a beautiful view of a bustling street in Old Town. The beds were comfortable. But the rooms were tiny, the furniture was old and the decor was drab and uninspiring. The apartment didn't look anything like what was advertised. Check out the photos from other people who stayed here so you know what you're getting.
We enjoyed our 2 night stay before Easter break. The apartment we rented has 2 well equipped bedrooms and a large living area. The check in and check out process were very efficient. The only complaint I have is regarding other guests staying in the apartment above ours. Unfortunately there were very noisy at night and we were able to hear them. The location of the apartment is excellent.
Perfect base for my trip to Warsaw Beer Festival. Central and close to most things. It was a 1.5 mile walk to the beer festival site, but I didn't mind that. The main areas for Warsaw were a short walk away. The apartment was nice and spacious.
All the ground level is shops etc so we walked right past it, even coming back lugging our suitcases it nearly proved impossible to locate the reception. However although the apartments are up a couple of flights of stairs they are very spacious and comfortable. Of course if you stay in the centre of town for the convenience, one must expect nightlife noise. Good value and would use again.
Lovely stay here for four nights. The staff were friendly but certain hours were not accessible. Didn't know they charged extra for checking in late. There are no lifts so carrying the luggage up five set of stairs was interesting. Our apartment was located on the second floor. We had two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living room. The ac was only in the living room but thank goodness it wasn't too hot. If you open the bedroom doors, you can feel the ac at times. The location was perfect. Everything was walking distance. Loads of places to eat outside. Enjoyed the ample tv stations lol. You can open the windows but it's a bit loud if you don't mind it. We just opened it for a breeze. The actual main door to the apartment was in a alley way and a hole in wall drinking place. There are also hostels around. Overall not a bad place.
Good location for old and new town walking distance to both, friendly helpful staff who speak English kept out cases until time to leave for airport. Apartment well equipped and clean, but Apt 19 in need of a new mattress. Would stay there again, lots of bars and restaurants close by.
The Royal Route Residence are small studio apartments that are in the heart of the clubs, bars and restaurants. It is directly about a bar. If you do not like hearing noise such as conversation while you are sleeping then DO NOT book this place. The conversation will continue until 4:00 AM. Fortunately this did not bother me, I slept right through it. You do have to climb stairs to get to your room and you have a physical key, not a magnetic card to enter the building and your room. Most Poland Hotels seem to use physical keys. The real joy of the place was a washing machine, mini fridge, stove, microwave, sink, coffee pot and dishwasher. For someone, who travels for two weeks, it is nice to be able to wash your clothes. However, laundry detergent is not provided, nor is coffee. Curiously they provide dishwasher pods if you chose to wash your dishes in the dishwasher. You have booked an apartment for short term stay, similar to airbnb. It is better than airbnb because you enter a very clean room with no personal effects of the owner. You do not get daily maid service, they clean up when you leave. Location is a huge plus. I have walked to the National Museum, around the area and to the grocery store. If I ever find myself in Warsaw Poland again, I would book this place.
First of all I would like to mention that the situation has happened on the 15th of August 2016 so the photos I've attached are recent. I called it scum because the place we rented for three nights were NOTHING like they offered. We booked it through hotels.com, arrived, faced closed door, tried to call, noone answer, get to know the entrance is on the other side, went into a gate full of drunk, homeless people, had to climed with our suitcases two floors, just to get to know that the appartement is on the other street. We saw the appartement which was dirty, full of hairs in the bathroom, the walls dirty, curtains didn't work. The entrance and the building by itself looks groose. After seeing it we decided not to stay there. Although they charged us 200$ we left. I went back to the office, said what I think about it and... No call or interest from menager at all. They were just happy to get out with our money for free and probably rented it to someone else. I felt such a shame because of my husband who is not Polish that he had to see such an awful place and take a part in this. Do not recommend it to no one. Belive me there are a lots of nice places in Warsaw which really ARE like on the pictures. Even if you travel on a budget. You will have much worse impression of Poland if you stay there, than it deserves.
